No, I wouldn't have felt ripped off. And you already have it, so there's no reason to be up in arms.

Talk to me instead about The Wolf Among Us. I bought the Season Pass on 360 4 months ago, the first chance it was available.

Episodes were supposed to come out in 1-2 months. This one took four.

People who DIDN'T get the Season Pass are already playing it.

People who DID, me included, are not because our Season Passes aren't working and it wants to charge us twice for something we paid for forever ago.

Literally everyone is playing the episode except early adopters on 360.

THAT is a reason to complain.

Not, "I bought something and now they're releasing a different version thats cheaper"

Hell I bought a 500GB Xbox One at launch and now there's word of a 1TB X1 that'll be cheaper than $499 on the horizon.

I'm cool with that. And thats basically your complaint on a higher scale.

I haven't purchased Freedom Cry/or AC4, because i don't have the money for one of them atm.

Point taken through, but i still like to look on those people i mentioned that might be anoyid at Ubi.

We do not all think the same thing.

I don't suppose the next Assassin's Creed game has been revealed yet?

Nay, though at the rate they're going it's probably safe to say you won't have to wait long.

Here's hoping it'll be set during the last decades of the Roman Republic.

I've always heard feudal Japan rumored as a setting for a future Assassin's Creed game. I think that would be pretty damn cool. As a matter of fact:

I know the World War II setting has been driven into the ground, but I'd love to see it portrayed in Assassin's Creed.

I still like the idea of 13th century Egypt the most, tbh.

Only played AC4 up to getting the Jackdaw so far since I've been trying to finish off AC3 first (mostly just finishing off the side stuff, the encyclopedia, etc) and I'm enjoying it. But really, you can put pirates, assassins, mercenaries and shadowy organisations in something and I'll love it because of that. Really loving the music though, which never really hooked me in the previous games. I even bought the full soundtrack.

Something I'd like to hear people's thoughts on though, regarding the most recent posts, is this: How do you think the majority of fans would react to an Assassin's Creed game which returned to a time period before gunpowder firearms? Personally I'd love to see something set in the ancient world, so even before AC1, to see what that would be like.

Dunno how people would react. I'd welcome it. I don't need firearms in my AC games to enjoy them. Though every AC has involved a firearm of some sort except the very first, so...

Dunno.

I'd say a WW2 AC should be made....Only if they make Jack Churchill an Assassin.
Seriously. Dude was Crazy awesome (He fought the Natzis with a Claymore!)

Rome would be cool. As would Feudal Japan.
I wouldn't even be against a First Civilization era game playing as Cain or something.

I'd be fine with no guns in the next game, I kind of just want another bow-wielding protagonist but have it done better this time. Maybe a longbow that we can actually use for much longer ranges.

Which, would work pretty well for aforementioned Egyptian setting.

The soundtrack to AC4 is good, but I really loved the soundtrack to AC2. Had a bit of an ambient operatic vibe to it.

I have to admit I found using the pistols in AC4 useful, but I wouldn't miss them if they disappeared. I mainly used the hidden blade and daggers in the earlier games anyway, so a return to an earlier time period would be fine for me.

Check the link I posted.
Everyone wins in the WW2 Assassins Creed Jack Churchill game!

Well, I was picturing Egyptian. Because as I said that's my ideal setting next game. :S

Works for me.

Oh, and I'm against any potential WW2 setting. Been done a million times. Not like AC, but still.

Would rather something else, like Egyptian, Indian, etc etc

That's exactly why I want them to do it. It could breathe some life into the World War II setting in video games.

I do admit, I'd be cool with a WW2 setting if it could bring something new to it. I've also wondered about a game set during the sixties or seventies, mostly to see an assassin in that era of fashion.

But I also wonder about one set in the State of the Teutonic Order, perhaps built around the battle of Grunwald and the siege afterwards. Mainly thinking of an assassin that actually infiltrates the order properly to take out Templar targets, rather than just sneaking into a place and killing a target, using proper disguises, gathering intelligence, maintaining your cover. Basically being an assassin behind enemy lines without any support.

First OMG I would LOVE, just love an Egyptian Setting for the next Assassins Creed game!

Second:I'm in the beginning to middle of the game.Gameplay is that of AC:franchise.story is ok so far and edward i still dont like at all really.i understand and feel what they were going for, but he just feels like a typical bitter indecive cynic(and i get enough of that what myself lol),since he has no real ties to enthrall hes convictions if he had any, it just leads greed with the greener aspect of life and i hate that whole mentaility.

Black flag or aka Black LAG should have been a stand alone pirate game and the character trying to make a name-life for themself and i would have gotten behind that.the activites i feel take away from it being an AC game.

fact is i got this game for Free, if i would have paid for it i would have been let down and forced myself to beat it.then traded it off quicker then a disspointed stay at home dad cheating on his wife with the slu77y mom next door who works at home

Way before that if memory serves. I remember Black Flag floating around as soon as March or April.

I'll bet anything on there being a totally unintentional leak in the coming months.

Ubi has actually been super busy.

Released Liberation HD in January, turned "Freedom's Cry" into it's own standalone "mini" game, Child of Light's in April, Stick of Truth sometime in the summer, then they've got the games they've ALREADY announced but have delayed--Watch Dogs (Watch Dogs. Watch Dogs! *salivates*), The Division, The Crew.

Unannounced games are the latest in a long line.

IIRC, a Far Cry sequel was up in the air too.

(Hopefully Blood Dragon too. Ahem.)

I will kiss Ubisoft on the mouth if they give me a Blood Dragon sequel.

I don't know how I'd kiss a gaming developer/publisher on the mouth, but damn it, I'd try.
