Also, sustained spells should cost the same amount of mana to cast as their upkeep cost. Right now, I can unload all of my nukes and disables and still be able to cast my sustained spells since they do not actually cost any mana to cast.

I don't care about new items. You have the toolset and mods for this.
That doesn't help people playing on consoles though, does it? Which is the sole reason I would like to see different looking armor added to the game at some point. It's the only way the console versions can get anything new.
Thanks for standing up for us!!

Mage head gear that isn't retarded.
More caster, rogue characters for your party.
Less boring art.... poo brown towns are not exciting places to roam.
Smaller dungeon crawls with no more 1 billion mobs padding out the length of the game.
Buff to melee and slight nerf to casters.
No Nu Metal adverts, "this is the new ****" - embaressing marketing for 12 year olds.

Really? The plot thing I mean. Good & evil...evil gather numbers must be stopped. So you had problem with...every RPG in history? lol
you just seem annoyingly impossible to please. lol. I can understand the mage head gear but Denerim? I mean no city or area looks the same.
What kind of fake gamer doesn't like a long, in depth dungeon to get tons of loot & xp?
buff & nerf for melee & mages was another good one!
the song was very annoying but I still enjoyed it more than that slow dance song they switched to. lol

I wouldn't mind seeing another party member that's unique, in the same way the Dog and Shale are unique.

Why does every RPG have to be like that though? Why does it need to fit neatly into that box of a hero saving the world from evil? Dragon Age isn't exactly black and white, and the world is far darker than Tolkien fare, but he does have a point. Hardly "impossible to please".
I'm glad we're actually going to see a villain and some actual depth to the darkspawn here than we did in the main game. This is one of my favourite RPG's, but it falls short of brilliance because the darkspawn seem more bland than they do menacing. I wish there were more parts of the game that were similar to The Deep Roads, where you really got a sense of the darkspawn as more than the dull antagonists that they are most of the game. The portions leading up to the Broodmother were truly creepy, and I think the game could have used more parts like that.
Also, considering the other treaty quests have no darkspawn to fight, it makes the darkspawn themselves seem a bit distant.

The Good and Evil theme is just outplayed, an RPG doesn't have to be that simple, Planescape Torment for example.
Denerim looks like donkey balls, sorry.
Fake gamer? you mean I buy games then pretend to play them....
Simpletons are easily amused "duh I kill bad guys....duh me level up.....duh Dark Spawn are evil!".
Here's a pat on the head and a rubber ball.

You're welcome! I have the a console version as well as the PC version. It'd be nice if I could fix up my Xbox characters as nicely as I can the PC ones for once.

New item and monster models.
Companions that are interesting enough that we won't miss the original cast.
Polearms
In that order.

How about making Shale a little more useful. Shale is good at the beginning/middle of the game but by the end Shale can't compare with the DPS of a rogue nor the defense of a warrior with good plate armor. I guess I would ask for some better armor for Shale as well as more activated abilities for each one of her sustained abilities.
Shale wont be in it so it would be pointless.....
nor will the rest of the 'origins crew'

Hm, the only things I really really want are some awesome new 2 handed swords, and I want Leliana to come with my character into Awakening. I know they said there's gonna be 1 returning companion, and it's probably not her. Which is a shame for everyone's phyiscal health because with no Leliana, my guy's gonna be in perma Berserk and Blood Thirst mode. "Hey, Grey War- "DON'T TALK TO ME! I'LL PULL YOUR SPINE OUT!"

I cannot really see that being something they would spend time on. Its a neat idea but fist are useless when your up against a giant in steel carrying a massive axe.TesseractSpace wrote...
Unarmed combat skills. It'd be nice to see a few martial arts moves. They didn't all originate in Asia. Given that it seems Orlais will feature in the new content, perhaps a kickboxing style like Savate might be given a chance?

Being proficient in unarmed combat techniques is always a plus if you expect yourself to be in combat situations. You never know when you will be disarmed and even a giant in steel has a ****** somewhere who becomes nothing but a big target when hes been disarmed by someone vastly more nimble.
But ya I would not be a supporter of a monk like class or talent set. It just would make little sense to the setting.

To put it simply, for everyone that hates the simple "Good Vs. Evil" storylines, this won't disappoint.

I doubt those people that think DAO's plot is that simple will ever see anything else.

2) New female model, so they don't look like skinny apes with unrealisticly broad shoulders... (also new animation for walking too... can we walk like females and not apes please?)
3) Possible add a voice for the Hero Player. (and the ability to keep it off for those that don't like it. i for one miss the voice like they had in Mass Effect. the Mute hero type got very old for me with Half Life - Gordan Freeman. I want to talk! dang nabit.)
4) More choice of weapons, such as pole-arms (spears/halberds etc) and flails, etc. maybe make it so the generic archery attack(aka not the talents) will continue to fire even if you are moving?
5) Not sure how others would feel about it but maybe better/obvious dialog choices for good, neutral, evil. Much like mass Effect. (good on top, neutral middle, evil bottom. or blue for good, white neutral, red evil...)
6) Maybe capes that are attached to medium/heavy armor that you can buy? a concept art of a warrior shows him wearing a cape... something to make the back of your armor look less... bland.
