Sorry if the answer to this is somewhere in these topics, but I can't seem to find anthing and I've struggled for hours with the troubleshooting wiki pages...

I have Windows vista SP2, I get the "unable to connect to database" message... I've been trying pretty much everything, now I was trying to manually install the SQL thingies again and when I got to the "restore database" part it says

System.Data.SqlClient.SqlError: The backup set holds a backup of a database other than the existing 'bw_dragonage_content' database. (Microsoft.SqlServer.Express.Smo)

I just noticed that when I select the backups sets to restore the name is

DAOBUILD12/BWDATOOLSET

I haven't installed ANY patch on the game, ever. Does it mean that the toolset won't work?
Do I need to have the 1.2 patch for DAO to use the toolset?

As you might have guessed I'm *not* an expert at this, but I was hoping to at least manage to start the software

I can reply to myself!
I had forgotten to check "overwrite existing database" in the options. Then it restored the db!
Obviously it still wasn't working after that, but I changed something else - I don't even know *what* made it work in the end but it did!
