My homestead has been under attack by Vamps, Bandits, A Giant, A Dragon and Draugr, none of those have ever kidnapped my spouse.

Damn them for not giving me my damsel in distress quest!

I think that's a Dawnguard quest, not Hearthfire - if you side with DG, the vampires kidnap someone 'important' to you; it's not always your spouse. In my playthroughs, they seem to really like Ingun Black-Briar.

I think my biological clock is working on overdrive because I want babies irl, (which I can't have) babies in RPGs, babies babies everywhere as far as the eye can see! There was this one quest in Fable 2 where your kid decides they want to be a hero like you and runs off to this dangerous hobbe filled cave and you have to save them. The characters in fable have no depth, but I was still like "mah bebe!!!" It would be awesome to be able to have a child in a story/character focused game.

However, I do feel that same way about puppies. If I could have a pack of dogs as followers, I would be in my own seventh heaven.

I generally like to be as diplomatic as possible, when I'm not being slightly snarky her on the BSN, but the idea of a pregnant companion and LI is mind-meltingly f***ing stupid!!!! Even if OP is joking, as I suspect he is, just... no.

I don't care what the Jason Momoa Conan the Barbarian reboot would have you believe, no pregnant woman, no matter how tough she is or how tough a tribe of mighty warrior people she belongs to is going to be any good in combat, particularly far enough in the pregnancy to have a visible baby bump. She'd be suffering from sore, swollen feet, a weakened bladder, back pain, not to mention the emotional, hormonal side of being pregnant. Take it from a dad who took care of a pregnant wife for nine months.
