I was thinking the John Carpenter version, addiction21.
But it was thriller/horror, and as such I was going for the suspense but still gory/scary kind of film, and most of the good ones like that are usually black & white, or at least pre-90's.

It was awesome, though. I remember waiting up Thursday (I think it was Thursday, might have been Friday) night every week in my dorm room to get the new unit, and then immediately starting up some multiplayer with my roommates and playing around with it.
God I love that game. My brother scratched the hell out of my discs, though, so I can't install it now.
I could install TA:Kingdoms (the first game I ever got on release day...TA was that awesome), but it's just not quite the same.
