...

Can't we have nice things without people complaining (even if it wasn't entirely the point the OP was trying to get across)?

Nice. Too bad you did it on Giant, otherwise could have submitted to the solo hall of fameImage IPB

doing it wrong, or bad.

Not surprising. You seem to choose an arrogant attitude once again. And you fail to see that you just contradicted your whole argument. If the kit really would be that op as you claim, doing it wrong or bad wouldn't matter.

You just needed one gel, but you used most of your ops packs and rockets. Gee, I didn't need to use them, so may be you're the one doing it bad or wrong? /ironie  ;-)

Blahhh blah blah bubbbabablah You are right.

Fixed.

How about 2 jugs and 2 volus engineers, would that be OP?

Nerfs happen with statistics that we do not have access to. If Bioware see's a spike in successful gold and plat games, they will investigate. If its due to an excess of juggernauts and EDI's, they will make adjustments.

So a 66m vid is enough to call him OP?

Sounds like BSN logic so sure ok?!

There are 65 characters in the game now, there are good ones, bad one, and great ones. Arguing over an op character is rather absurd, just choose another character should you not enjoy one.

I'd rather you discuss the character's role, niche because I have yet to unlock the Geth Juggernaut and he may or may not fit my play style.

Surprisingly no. I had a game just now with me as a Jugger, Warlord, Collector adept and a Volus. vs Collectors on gold Jade. I went down once, at extraction. I was using a Typhoon. I'm going to try with the PPR extended mag and extended barrel next.

The Jugger is brilliant when it comes to back up. Hack zones, use pulse cannon for max 40% DR, Hex shield specced for shield strength electric damage and shield stength/size. When a Hack begins you aren't going to be fast enough to get there ontime, but you can draw those Praetorians away. Back peddle and use whatever weapon you're carrying to whittle them down and drop Hex shields to block their attacks.

You might not be hacking but your team won't have to worry about those Praetorians rushing the Hack zone as you're leading them a merry dance round the map. You're tough enough to take them on easily. DR on Pulse cannon and Hex shields really helps with the lasers, but you have to be right behind it as the gaps in the shield let the laser through.

He won't however, do damage as fast as other kits, I went full shields, so I lost 15% damage on rank 6 fitness, but I put on assault rifle gear to get it back as he's easily tough enough with DR, Hex and Fitness.

I don't think we can talk nerf so soon, have you played him in various maps/difficulties/enemies/team sizes? I haven't unlocked him yet, but I plan to mess around with him as a support character, much like the Volus kits.

Also, good job soloing Plat with him!

its bc the jugg makes a player overconfident, and they err.

The community has to practice the extent of the Jugg's dps/survivability balance.

also, bad players doesnt mean the jugg is balanced.

I didn't read the entirety of the thread, but couldn't you say the opposite? Like, if the bolded statement is true, then good players doesn't mean the Juggernaut is OP?

I'd say you did so well because of your skill, and quickness to adapt to the Juggernauts strengths. I didn't watch the video (I never do. 60+ minutes is too long to watch someone else play, when I could be playing myself), but I'm just going to guess that you made heavy use of the Hex shield and that you weren't out in the open eating bullets.

I don't think that means he's in need of a nerf or that he's OP because a player soloed Platinum with him the first day. His reduced speed/mobility is a huge disadvantage, especially on the bigger maps. Although you'd have to avoid sync-kills with other kits, I wager with just as much skill, you'd have gotten that Plat solo done in less than half the time it took you to complete it with the Juggernaut.

TL; DR - He's not OP. Please stop saying this. Nerfing might ensue. No one likes nerfs.Image IPB

Nice job btw, I had the most trouble vs dragoons from the cerb faction. My guess is that the collectors would be the most overall difficult though.

yea. i was thinking maybe these later kits are stronger than the release kits bc bioware wont be making much more money from its RNG system? So they are making it easier to earn credits w kits like the sexbot and Jugg.
