If you go to ammo boxes you'd have unlimited free medigels.
If you are playing in a magical alternate dimension where everyone gets infinite grenades, why not just use a Drell instead and carpet-bomb everything with Clusters?

this very rarely works for me. i tried dodge tactics before anyone ever suggested it to me and most of the time i get stunned (ex, downed, Gel rev, Phantom Melee stagger, then Sync-Kill stab) almost immediately before i can do anything. i can't tell you how many times this has happened. it's extremely frustrating.Ziegrif wrote...

2) a HUGE drawback of the Insta-Rev of Repair Matrix is you can get Sync-Killed far easier. example - let's say a Phantom just downed you. Repair Matrix kicks in, you're getting back up, then... BAM! stab. with a medigel, you can wait for a Phantom to either be distracted or move away.
And here's how to counteract this drawback.

It's the same as the drell. Just dodge 3 times to negate death stagger.
with this being said, i'd actually be okay with them removing the Insta-Rev feature of Repair Matrix for this reason. but, as someone else mentioned in another thread, this would likely take a patch instead of balance change and that's just not going to happen until more stuff can also be patched in. instead, it'll prob get a balance change and Shield Restoration will likely take a hit. that, imo, would be bad.

Actually I think the edibot dodges seem to have stagger resistances. I dunno but those Prime drones could not stagger a forward roll.
Also the only way the negation does not work is 1. extreme lag, 2. Your timing is off due to the lag. 3. You're stuck in a wall making it your fault.
Practice teh timing a bit more. The edibot can easily negate staggers due to her dodges being .... well perfect.
Edit: DOUBLE POST OF DOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!

All right.... I am sorry if it has been said, but as this thread has 10 pages, I was not able to read all.
The ting is : I don't know any new character (except maybe the collector and the cabal) who are not OP. Sexbot, Geth Prime and Hulk Krogan are simply three ways to play the game without any problem.
The thing is : I don't care anymore. I was for balance before. I still am. But this dlc is an End. A "bye bye". A gigantic party, a gift from the devs saying "we all just had A BIG FUN to code, conceptualize and play with you."
Basicly, those characters ARE cheating. This game will not endure, it will be finished soon... We have now the material for the Grand Finale, where rules doesn't aplies anymore.
I think the game is dead, now. We play a whole new game, for the fun and the kick, but no more for the build and the credits, and the weapons, etc. The game is dead.
So the question I ask is : do you prefer a quick end with a small statement from devs saying "Hi people, we are closing the servers tomorrow" or do you prefer a huge detonation before the end, the ONE that will be remembered ?

'd rather MEMP end with a bang than a whimper.

True. I am one of those people who have played the MP right from the start, have invested more time playing it than Uncharted 2 and 3 combined, which had been my go-to games before ME3 came out. I also have maxed my manifest prior to Reckoning.
I'm all for allowing new players enjoy higher difficulties without becoming too much of a burden to their teammates. If these new kits allow them to do that, I wouldn't mind at all. Less lobby-hopping for me.
People sometimes forget that newbies don't stay newbies. What's the fun in playing FBWGG all the time or the same kit over and over? New players will learn the ropes after a while as we all did before. An easy-to-master kit will hopefully keep them interested in the game, making it more enjoyable for them and less laggier for all of us, especially at the end of the course of this MP.
