Otherwise, new players will never be able to progress to gold or higher difficulty.
Every seasoned player has experienced at least one character that was OP upon release, had lots of fun, even cashed in a lot of credits before getting tired of using it.
What are the new players left with? Box of shame.
Personally, I love this kit, and would rather see a bunch of Edis running from one ammo box to another than Ghosts.
Do you think Fembot is OP? Spec out of Repair Matrix. Alternatively use the M-3 Predator.
Or just find a group of like minded friends and agree not to play with this kit.

Not his biotic/electric hammer obviously. His regular non charged melee.
675 vs 750 base damage.
Then if you add the 80% damage bonus from TC, another 50% because infiltrators have to be the best at every single thing, including melee, the +135% from fitness, the +50% from the shotgun omniblade, the +20% from hydraulic joints and the 35% from strength enhancer III, you get 2775.
For the Krogan Warlord, you get +180% from fitness, +80% from rage (and you have to sacrifice durability for that, not a problem on the sexbot), +50% omni blade, +20% hydraulic joints and +35% strength enhancers III, you get 2464.
That's beyond retarded.
How does it make sense than a one-ton Krogan does less damage with a huge hammer than an uppercut from a dumb female-looking robot ? Not to mention that the Krogan's melee takes at least twice as long.
What kind of an argument is this?
Who on earth plays an infiltrator like that? :sick:Only the most experienced players can pull off a melee infiltrator build. In all my hours playing in this game, I have seen just two really good melee GIs.
It is relatively easy to melee with a krogan and is more forgiving for regular players. You cannot make such extreme examples to highlight your point.

Repair matrix is too good, but it can't be significantly changed via balance updates. All they can do is alter the duration or maybe the damage resistance but the free medigel is fixed and not changeable.
So, basically, nothing can be done so this discussion is moot anyways.

How do you think all the Gold and Platinum players made it there? There wasn't any AUI so we had to use other characters. So if legions of player could do it, new players can do it too.

Hmm, they're left with the GI, GE, TGI, Fury, MQI, DA, HA, SI, AHI, HV, KV, Slayer and probably a couple more. On Gold, there's a lot of build that will be OP, it's just a matter of understanding how the enemies work. As soon as you figure this out, you will destroy Gold with the Hornet on a Volus.
I'm a very bad player, ME was my first "shooter". Up until I started to play the MP, I was still using the HUD to pause the game and align my shots. With a mouse and keyboard! That's pretty shamefull, but that was my situation. Now I'm #14 on challenge point in Canada (PC) and #370 in the world. There no ***** reason you cannot achieve that yourself considering how bad I was and that I never played a "shooter" before.
Also, a lot of people complain about the box of shame, but I don't. I was one of those in the room of shame on Glacier. I needed to get the feel of the higher difficulties to be able to adapt more easily. After a while, I went out of that room and never looked back.

The problem with this mentality is you think a Bronze player should play Gold or Platinum without being able to do so normally. Sure, a GI or TGI will help a lot to get use to a difficulty, but eventually you need to branch out. The problem is that an EDI bot player on Gold will try to branch out on Gold and will drag all his team to their knees. If he's not ready to play on Gold, he shouldn't play there.
It's the equivalent of a God Mode. You are preaching to keep a God Mode in a game where you skill should be the only thing that matters. I have no problem with some kits being better than other, but when one of those kits is so much better than it's nearest competitor, it should be "rectified" to keep the balance.

Might as well go your whole life doing pushups on your knees, too. It's easier, after all. Or really, why even do knee pushups when you can hold a shake weight, or attach electrodes to your stomach and let it do all the work for you? Brilliant!
There are certainly a few people who are so bad at video games that they will never be able to succeed on gold with normal kits. I just don't think that is most of you. I really believe that most people could be legitimately good if they put forth the effort... unfortunately, it is quite apparent that they don't want to.
If you're on the BSN and can't play gold, your time might be better spent searching for any one of the hundreds of guides on how to improve.

The way I see it people are calling for nerfs towards a specific area, one which should minimize harm. Don't want it to go the way of the Krysae now do we.

Sorry for this but I think all the typical "if you think it's OP then don't use it" coments are very stupid.
This is not something I am doing for me, I do it for the player base and for the game balance, i'm not calling it Overpowered for what I can do with it, let's be sincere, I don't want to sound elitist but the thing is I can make any kit in the game look totally broken if I want.
I'm not complaining about the damage output, for me is fine, what is not fine is Repair Matrix, as I said before, it breaks risk-reward relation.
It's like have a legal trainer with infinite health, a legal cheat.
Most cheats are not allowed in this game because they compromise all difficulties, same happens with this character, you can go and run to any spawn without worry about even medigel because you can have 40 instant revives without visit an ammo box plus 6 medigel, but is not only that, it doesn't have cooldown, it provides speed, damage reduction, it gives you back the shieldgate, it's just erase all the risk only leaving a maximum reward.
So please, if you will only come and say "if you think it's OP then just don't play it" please, at least give a reasonable argument of why it should stay like that instead of spread the stupidity in that way.
Okay dude, we get it. We are all a bunch of nerds writing disertations on a game that is a year old with waining support.
I am very proud of you for making all kits look broken (that a boy!) I am sure a great many people are. But let's be honest, you are upset because you think the repair matrix is broken and it needs addressed. Why do you really really care? think it's a great kit to play. Average players will still stuggle with it. REGARDLESS. So what if every so often they can feel awesome when playing. Is that not why we play games? Relax, have fun and enjoy it? I think your off base on this - for arguments sake why could an AI not self repair? Laslty do you really think this is a deal breaker? Really? It's a co-op game. What is to truly be gained by nerfing it? I hope they don't touch it. I hope they leave it alone and let it stay. Nerfers ruin it for eveyone.
Also this post won't change anything. We will have people like me saying leave it, people like you saying change it and 8000 threads on it. At the end of the day I am really disappointed in the number of people that whine and complain on these forums.

edit: anyway, this is next to impossible for the devs, so nvm.

TGI with 4000 shields, mega Typhoon, Krysae,
Sniper Rifle damage with 40% instead of 25% on Tac Cloak (among other nerfs).
I cannot remember the rest, but there are many.
I am sure you've experienced at least one of these OP wepons or kits. My point is - new players should also be able to experience this feeling. Seeing it as this is the last DLC, and that there will be no more new content -> no more nerfs, leave at least one class OP. And if it has to be one, I hope it will be the Fembot.

So bypassing the rocket cap using an exploit is bad, but doing so with medigels/ops packs is fine, coz the developers put it in. If bioware put in a class that had an aoe power strong enough to kill entire spawns would you want to nerf that, or is it also fine since the developers cannot possibly misjudge game balance?
Why yes! Let's take it to the COMPLETE extreme! Really dude? They made the game. It's their sandbox we play in lest you forget that. I think it's working as designed, if not they will make changes to it. The issue at hand is the constant freadking doctorial level whining that goes on here. Can you solo plat with it? If so pat yourself on the back. Most people can't. Based on PUGS I play with they are lucky to get through gold. This is what is so frustrating. Like I said - your view won't change cause you see this as a right you have. Once this is nerfed the Geth JUG will be the next cry. I mean seriously have you seen what you can do with that thing? Just stop the stupid man.

Not seeing it.
I've played several pug gold games now and have seen the 'EDI' played by several different people. Most still drop like flies. One guy I had to revive 12 times, 4 in one wave.
So although the minority can probably use her matrix ability to great effect, that certainly isn't translating to the majority. hence I don't see this new ability as a game breaker.
