Everytime a dlc is released people come out of the woodworks crying for nerfs
Actually what I've noticed is the people who come out of the woodwork are the ragers incensed that their latest noob cannon might become slightly less powerful. Most of the people who talk about nerfs are fairly regular posters, but I've never even seen most of these anti-nerf posters before. I mean seriously, where do they all come from?
Dunno about the others, but I've been around for a while. Right now, the class is interesting and unique, without actually being all that OP, as the matrix just makes it more survivable, not better. IT's a class that encourages a really stupid, reckless playstyle without being worthless or a burden on the team. Between a well played GI, TGI or EDII the first two will always be better because good players never to use the repair matrix anyway.
I can see the argument, but the EDII doesn' t change games the way the old krysae infiltrators did jby ust destroying things from across the map. It is kinda OP, but it's op in way that doesn't hurt other peoples fun as much. All it really does is save you money(i.e. gel) and that advantage lessens as skill goes up.
If players use it as noobclass.....they will quickly learn when they try a different class on gold(imagine the face: ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?)
The EDII bothers me much less than alot of the other OP stuff that has been out there. Sometimes I bet it's fun to just run around like your back on silver without putting your team out if it doesn't work.
If they nerf it, the EDI basicly becomes GHOST+SHOTGUN and range issues.
I'm hoping this runs it's course. Remember when everyone thought the Kroguard was OP?
