As if I'd trust anyone with that but bioware with that? I respect you, but you're still pushing for a nerf. I think many people are going to take a similar mentality unless they, too are nerf supporters.
That also does imply you don't like it as you want it changed, even saying as much as it's harmful to the community, and game. Weather it is, or not is up for debate, bluntly, IMO. I've placed my reasons back a bit.
It also implies you don't like other people using it as you seek it altered, and are not content with it, and wish to push your will upon others which is part of why people hate nerfs. People will likely think "Who is this guy to think he knows what's best for me?"
If you're looking to nerf something, expect backlash. It's inevitable.
I think he got it right in thinking you wanted to nerf it. He was out of line in how he said it though.
If I might be so bold, your point of view is coming from an expert point of view from someone who can solo with ltos of classes, and thus is talented enough to get the most out of this class. Most of the community aren't going to be so gifted.
Don't look at it through best case scenario, perfect playing. On paper it might seem broken, but is it in practice when a person who's not a master soloist BotB candidate? It may, or may not be.
Okay, here we are.
Look what happen, let's put the example of a very inexperienced player, if one of those players start using the EDI bot, instead of being good for him/her will be actually the opposite, the character don't make them learn anything about being careful, don't make them learn about situational awareness, it will make them ignore pretty much everything because the character has taken out the risk with its massive perks.
I am not talking about leveling up difficulties no, i don't have any problem with that, but the thing is, characters like this makes players less skilled and make them ignore so much things about the game that is actually bad for the ones that learn how to play with it.
Imagine the case of someone who learn how to play with this character, let's say on Fire Base White, one of the most used maps, good for granades etc, even if the player doesn't have granades gear he doesn't have to worry about too much because White is purely a granade map and once he notice all the perks it gives the character it will stick to it very much, of course, it doesn't matter if he or her stick too much to the character, but what is not good is that the character itself won't make the player evolve in skills, when that player try then another character would be a dissaster.
With time then, can get very bored of the game because will see the EDIbot as an unique option to play decently, which is bad for the player base.
Again, I think the damage output is fine, I don't have nothing against Cloak or the shotgun damage, for me is fine.
I also don't care if people solo platinum with it, if someone outscore me ( lol those coments were actually so funny ), etc.

I disagree
She's still 3rd to TGI and GI. She's only good in close a combat and doesn't have as much overall damage potiential. I'd only use her over those when I'm low on medi-gels.

But from my very very humble opinion I think Repair Matrix is breaking the balance we had in the game before Reckoning, and it breaks balance even on the character, because Repair Matrix makes us have 46 medigel just right there if spec'd correctly ( granade capacity and blablabla + 5 op packs = 40 + 6 medigel = 46 ) and that is just without ammo boxes.
The auto revive ability is not a bad idea, what it wasn't correct was maybe give it damage reduction, speedbonus, treat it as a granade ( no need of cooldown ) etc etc, and from my humble opinion, it should be changed, as I said above, it makes the fitness tree totally pointless since you don't have to worry about anything, you will be back to life with damage reduction and with huge speed.
the solution with this character is not taking actions against Cloak or weapons, is just tweaking a little bit Repair Matrix.
With this character cheaters don't have to use hacks to cheat because now we have a legal trainer in the game and I don't mean to fault you the respect BioWare, no, of course not, you don't deserve that, but I am just making a point.
Seriously, the risk-reward relation is erased with this character, could you please take a look at it BioWare?

Viejo me parece que se esta exagerando mucho el tema de la matrix defensiva, claro eso de resucitacion
instantanea es inequitativo para los demas jugadores pero creo que el tipo de caracteristicas del personaje la
hacen necesaria ya que pocos son habiles con una escopeta a distancias medias, por tanto deben acercarse
mucho a los enemigos para hacerles daño usando escopetas y en niveles oro o platino que la gran mayoria de
jugadores casuales poco juegan oro y otros pocos menos juegan platino les vendria util esta caracteristica,
ahora lo atinado seria cambiar su base de a un poder con un cooldown muy largo 20seg o mas para evitar ser
inequitativo con los demas jugadores sobretodo jugando en esos niveles oro y platino.

TGI can survive just a well with use of their Stim packs, heavy melee, and jets.

If she is easier to play then more people will move up to higher difficulty levels thereby getting more credits thereby getting more unlocks. It's like reducing the price of store packs, or moving unlocks down in rarity level, or increasing the chance of drops in packs.
I hate the store so much that just now as I'm thinking of all this, I'm not sure that I would have a problem playing decoy for 3 EDIbots on platinum, and I hate TC. The faster I max my manifest, the faster I go back to a difficulty level where the enemies cheat slower.

If a nerf is require, I say that they remove the auto revive and rework the 6a evolution of repair matrix. The only thing that I didn't like about infiltrators was that shields stop regenerating when in cloak...which repair matrix just took away the drawback of cloak. Now that I'm thinking about it, might as well aim at the shield regeneration as it contradicts cloak's consequence.
The TGI also has the ability to regain shields while cloaked so what are you talking about, I swear you are all masochist's.

Si se cambia para que tenga un cooldown estaría bien, el problema es que para eso se necesita n parche y lo veo muy difícil a estas alturas, lamentablemente eso significaría que la mecánica en sí de este poder no será cambiada, lo único que se podría cambiar serían los stats que tenemos ahora.
El verdadero problema con ese poder, es que elimita todo tipo de riezgo, lo hace inexistente y por lo tanto quita del juego todo tipo de challenges

But if I jump on platinum and just stand there to die, i can assure you that the game will finish faster with the juggernout even if I equip Cyclonic IV, Shield booster V and use my 6 medigel.
I can last longer with the edibot even without touch the medigel with 0 fitness and without cyclonics or shield booster.

Conjecture. I could say that using the AIU can give an inexperienced player a boost in learning curve by understanding the way the mechanics work due to gaming exposure. Then that said player can compensate when using other kits and react accordingly. Take me for example. My first gold match was FBW/G/G. I got face-planted with the harsh reality that silver was nothing compared to this difficulty and that I would have to change my playstyle a lot. After getting my feet wet within a few matches (including the sad reality that single shot sniper rifles were garbage because of damn shield gate), I moved on from FBW/G/G and progressed to U/U/G without much adjustment at all. Now it's almost impossible for me to not get through wave 11 in gold PUG matches.
Does this mean every inexperienced player's skill level (who abuses the AIU) would progress like me when I was moving up to gold thru FBW/G/G? No, because what happened to me is a maybe/what-if scenario....and so is your first paragraph.

Again, conjecture. You don't know the outcome of each individual inexperienced player that constantly uses this kit and then tries to move on from there.

i thought tgi was virtually unlimited ops packs and high damage
edi is unlimited medigels and high survivability
did i miss something in between ?
