Great caster weapon. I still prefer the heavier ARs over the Lancer since it has low clip size, but that'll probably improve as I level it.

I was gonna come on here to say profess my love for the gun. Didn't get any new chars yet except the one as a gift, but I got this baby today, and it works wonders on the Turian Ghost Infiltrator naturally. I was using him and the Warfighter V gear mod, and it was tearing things apart on Gold. I'm using it with Extend Clip and the Piercing Mod for now.

Tried same setup with Revenant X and it just blows it out of the water. Its only real competition for ARs is Typhoon and Harrier I think.

It is AWESOME. It leaves Cerberus Harrier in the dust & compared to Lancer, Harrier is now joke.

Mark1 Lancer is superior to Harrier Mark10.

I was ridiculously disappointed today considering my only new character out of 2.0 million credits came from the gift pack, but I did manage to scoop up a Lancer... and boy does it kick ass.

I wouldn't say it's anywhere close to overpowered, but it's a really nice gun. Kicks like a mule, but good nonetheless.

The Executioner and the Suppressor are amazing as well if you can get headshots.

I will admit I didn't try the Suppressor or Executioner. I have fallen in love with the Suppressor. It's basically the N7 Predator I requested, except with crappy spare ammo. Only thing holding me back from using it more, honestly.

Executioner is okay, but I don't think it does enough damage to justify carrying it over an Arc Pistol. AP does slightly less damage and mitigates shield gate. Executioner only has natural piercing going for it.

Looking forward to the Lancer. My spending spree finally unlocked the Claymore... The M-11 suppressor is fun to use.

Lately I have been enjoying playing Krentinel, a class for some reason I used to dislike. But, today I slapped on the Lancer and just completely wrecked **** in a gold match, it was amazing. This gun seems like it will be great on any class.  Cool thing was that I also didn't equip the extended magazine that match, just went with the barrel and normal AP mod.  The ExMag. is great for the Lancer, but by no means necessary.

I have it at VII and it's okay. I still prefer the harrier. How can people say it is on par with the harrier?

Lancer X does 848 dps while the harrier X does almost 1200 dps. The difference is not noticeable?

I know on paper the harrier looks far superior, but after using the Lancer, I would say its a close contender.  Plus, no ammo starvation.

One gun I didn't have to try last night (used Venom, BPP, Spitfire and PPR on the Coldept). Definitely on it tonight, was really looking forward to a caster UR AR.

Nnnot really. They fit best on completely different kits.

The Lancer has solid DPS, and good accuracy. The Cerberus Harrier is more accurate, and hits almost twice as hard. The Lancer's only advantages are its lower weight, and unlimited ammo.

The Lancer is a great gun, but it's not nearly strong enough to obsolete the Harrier.

I want it so badly- I want to put it on my Human Sentinel, the first (and still my favourite) class I played in ME1, change her armour colour to something ugly and probably camo, and spend significant portions of the match hiding behind cover pretending I have to wait 45-90 seconds for a power cooldown

I love it. The nostalgia factor, it feels good, looks cool, sounds cool. I only have it at II (both from Reserves Packs, lol) and I don't have the Harrier, but I absolutely love it.

The only guns I like from this DLC are the Lancer, which is prolly one of the best ARs right now, and the Executioner. The sound the Executioner makes when firing it is quite satisfying, just like the Lancer's, and both deal great damage.

The lancer and suppressor are all I need from the new weapons. They are both amazong weapons that fill a much needed niche.
