Everything is wrong with it from once again an underdone vangaurd with insufficient shields and especially health...why? bopware? vangaurds are more stronger in armor and health in splayer how bout squaring the ledger here?
Cabal is especially vulnerable in gold and platinum.
Poison darts are it best power. But it teleports way too quickly and too far- there is nothing measured or moderate about the distance it teleports.
Way too easy to teleport more times than intended.
IT great at teleporting from side to side. but for instance when attempting to retreat the same mechanics do not apply it cannot teleport backwards when attempting to back away from enemies.
I know the Talon is majorly glitched but at least the mechanics work.
IT appears bioware truly rushed the mechanics of the Cabal.
Who else is disappointed with Cabal and why? or if you do like it why do you think it so great?

i wonder..is it a more vanguard support type class?
rather than a primary frontline trooper? a new type of vanguard?

I had a very hard time actually making good use of the poison biotic charge and ended up in bad spots more than I would have liked.

Maybe that"s because I always like high mobility, high risk high reward characters, but I find her to be perfectly viable, even in gold and platinum.
Yeah, the skill cap seems bigger that most of the new characters, but it was the same with the Drellguard or the Slayer.
So, she hasn't that much shield and health, but she has 3 teleporting abilities : Dodge / Heavy Melee / Poison Strike.
I mostly use Poison Strike as a mobility ability, since, indeed, the only complaint I could have is that it seems to have some problems to register the hits, but when it does, it's perfect. Took it with the double strike, since I found out that the reduced range is actually an advantage, allowing for more control over her.
That, coupled with her dodges and heavy melee allows you to teleport all around the place, getting in security when things tend to go bad, behind a wall or in cover.
Then, the poison ballistic blades.
Awesome crowd control / debuff ability, not even triggering a cooldown since it's on grenades.
Perfect for her hit and run style.
Finally, the Biotic Buff which can recharge your shields allowing you to get away if needed.
I
really don't see what could be wrong with her other that the poison
strike hitscan which seems a little wonky, but other than that, she is
perfect.

Yes hit and run i was thinking it
seems very restrictive to that tactic i thought vanguards are supposed
to be a bit stronger up close and personal too. to be abkle to stay in
spot it charges to before just leaping off striaght to next target
i wonder..is it a more vanguard support type class?
rather than a primary frontline trooper? a new type of vanguard?
Assassin kind vanguard for me, taking out mobs quickly before retreating and attacking again.

The only effective play I've seen with her is skipping or only putting 3 points in Poison Strike (for mobility to run away), and maxing biotic focus and Nightshade Blades. Nightshade is a VERY powerful grenade, but has a lot of usage restrictions (max 3 targets, short range, can't paralyze most enemies in gold/plat) so there are better options.
Until they give the class some form of health and/or shield regen (probably through poison strike) that isn't a weak 40% recharge on a cooldown, it's simply not as good as other options for higher difficulties. IMO the weakest kit in the new DLC for high difficulties, which is a shame because it's the kit I was most looking forward to.

Host when playing her, it's an usual problem on vanguards.
I played her without hosting but yeah, it doesn't help.

What weapons/builds are you guys using with her? I tried several different weapons and nothing so far has seemed to work, I just don't seem get any kills at all (except with the nighshade darts, they're amazing).
I use her with the executioner pistol with the melee and power accessory.
Just because I love the feeling of that gun.
That, or Blood Pack Punisher SMG.
