I played a few rounds with the Talon Merc last night with the tripwire specced out for max damage. I quickly got into the habit of setting up perimeter tripwires to explode if enemies entered the Dagger upper levels. Interesting enough I would turn around and find that enemies were now within the hallways, but the tripwire had not been triggered. Sometimes the tripwire would survive the entire wave.
Is this a bug? Do I have to actually be looking at the tripwire in within a certain radius for it to work right? Anyone else experience buggy tripwires on any system? I'm wondering if this is lag related since I typically play offhost. I got to say though that when the tripwires do explode they are amazing at crowd control.
