I noticed with my warrior who had Rally up that I could see trap triggers where they intersected with the VFX. It's pretty handy if you don't have a rogue in your party, or your rogue doesn't have a particularly high cunning score. I haven't seen this mentioned before so I figured I'd spread the word, sorry if it's old news.
Has anyone noticed this with VFX other than Rally?

I've noticed it with no VFX, the traps are translucent but still there. Not in all cases though, it's most obvious for tripwires and pressure plates. The legholds are much harder to see.
I get odd coronoa effects on a lot of the graphics in this game though so maybe it's just my PC rig that's doing it. Hair, for example, has an odd aura around it which is particularly noticable when a PC or NPC is standing in front of a fire.
