Don't get fooled by the negativity, it's a really good and fun DLC.

I heard a different story.
That if you add it in, it is silent, due to some kind of bug.

Besides, I'm wary of doing anything that may violate my Origin terms of use and get my account suspended.
I'm not sure if singleplayer modding counts for that, so am playing it safe.

But heck, if it was allowed, I'd give myself that gun and lot of credits, it's hard for me to gain financial assets in ME2 and ME3.

But I don't know if that'll solve the problem with the other two weapons.

Which is why I'd prefer an official Collector weapons pack, which has no legal grey areas and will give me all 3 at once.

It's the noob gun that every NPC in the game has (and your squadmates when the weapons allocation animation breaks down during cutscenes!).

I have no interest in the M11 Supressor.

So it looks like I'm passing on buying this DLC until my condition is met.

Actually the Lancer is a badass weapon. Absolutely love it. I'm an Adept, but I gladly sacrificed a bit of power recharge speed for it.

At least all the weapon mods are in...the five introduced by reckoning and the SR high velocity barrel which the Omega DLC failed to add.

The fact that the only weapons not made available in SP are the three collector weapons makes me very suspicious......I doubt this is a coincidence. I'm thinking that they are planning another trilogy pack....perhaps to be launched simultaneously on current and next consoles.

Wait, so if I understand you right, you're suggesting that they're going to release a Collectors Edition Trilogy with the Collector weapons for single player as a carrot to buy it?

That would be annoying, to be forced to get it just for 3 weapons that could easily be provided via a simple DLC.

Especially considering I already own all 3 games.
And in some cases, I own 2 copies!

I think I've already paid my dues for Mass Effect.


And I hope it comes in PC version, considering I don't play on console, anything that involves them has no benefit to me whatsoever.

And you're right....I feel the same as you and I too have bought multiple copies including the CEs of all three games(if you are wondering yes ME1 had a CE at launch though t was a last minute thing and was only avilable online).

But that's what I see happening....the PS4 has been recently announced and the next xbox is expected to be announced early April so around the time of E3 this year I very much suspect they will drop the announcement of a CE trilogy pack which, if true, I have no doubt will be available on the PC as well. But I do not blieve the Collector weapons were "missed" by accident.

Given that the 360 and PS3 are soon to be history, DLC sales for these platforms if bound to drop drastically if not disappear as the new consoles take the stage so it would make sense for them to release all-including trilogy packs for the next consoles....which will both have blu-ray drives so disc space will cease to be an issue.

Not exactly, usually the early days of a console transition are pretty rough for the new guys as many people are waiting for killer apps and price drops. X360 & PS3 will be very relevant for at least another year, not in terms of hype, but in sales. Remember that the PS2 stopped production just a few months ago, and it was still making money. And it has been confirmed the PS4 will not transfer any of your digital content (games and DLC). So, I doubt people will part with their X360 or PS3 anytime soon.

Personally, I actually want a Complete Trilogy Set with all the DLC on disc. I don't like the fact a bunch of my content is digital. Meaning, I don't really own it, because when the servers stop supporting the DLC in a couple years, I will not be able re-download it if I need to (like the DLC for Xbox original games).
