Its a fun class and I'm going to enjoy it while I can. Well, at least until it gets pounded by the nerf hammer (which I hope they don't do).
There is no real pressing need to nerf the class. It doesn't outperform other kits any more substantially than some of the other most powerful infiltrators in the game. Don't feed the nerfers

i will go test this hypothetical situation out guys. I will run into a group of enemies on platinum and die. I will tell my teammates not to help because that would be dumb. And I wont switch to my cobra either cause thats pretty much useless.

hahahaha!
nicely done.

If it means that there's one less PUG that I have to pick up and/or have bleed out like so many do, I'm OK with it. It's definitely going to be a crutch class for players trying to play a difficulty above their actual skill level, though. When it comes to PUGs, the only thing I really care about is finishing the match, getting my credits and quickly moving on to the next one.

while the melee part is a bit far-fetched... your description isn't all that far from what happens on gold/plat

Then, she gets a shotgun cloak. Shotgun damage is already superb without another 25% damage. And further more, she gets an amazing debuff that goes through walls and has the strongest tech explosion and gives even more damage against armor.

Thank you OP. It's nice to find a thread for the AUI that isn't whining for her to be nerfed just because she has the Potential to allow the skilled casual player to enjoy gold or, dare I say it, maybe even a platinum game. I love her just the way she is, but I can pull double/triple the score I get with her with at least a half a dozen other characters. I like the RM for running in a reviving downed teammates, but as others have posted you must use it wisely or it will burn you.

agreed. a thousand times, agreed. this is part of what i've been saying in the nerf threads.
i experienced the constant shield gating quite a few times yesterday during a Gold, albeit with no consumables equipped. we wiped on Wave 9 against Cerberus.
those PHANTOMS & DRAGOONS
Insta-Rez is basically useless unless you know what you're doing.

That's literally worst case scenario, and is only indicative of a fraction of games. But for the record, I do agree, instant revive is not as great when you're within instakill range. Besides that, Repair Matrix still gives DR, movement speed, and shield regen, plus there's still the instant revive to consider when not in melee range of a boss unit.

good point. Here is something to consider.
The AIU is designed for CQC. Naturally, thats the way to go with her.
If you are a poor/mediocre player and you get close, chances are you aren't aware of the phantom/dragoon/brute/hunter flanking you. If you go down (which they probably will), the enemies will keep rushing you, as you are still maintaining aggro... they keep getting closer... and closer...
With bosses/ravagers/scions... true... they can just get up, but you are still being slowed and are allowing enemies to close in on you while you slowly get up. Its still not a win.
Anytime you go down, revive or not... its not a win

Yet another reason why people should rely more on awareness and skill and less on equipment to "improve."

Yeah honestly she's amazing with any shotgun, but the Reegar is so far above the rest it's not even funny. People who are still using Wraiths/Claymores/whatever on her haven't really understood the power of the class yet.
