Might be a little off topic, but  I've seen more juggernaught players then any other new kit.  Second most seen is the krogan Warlord. 


lol, i only played with one random krogan warlord... and it was embarrasing....

it was on platinum and the final score was like... 6 (maybe 60?)k

it was pretty pathetic. went down all the time... he was trying, but he was just terrible

we stopped reviving him after awhile

The only thing you're missing out on is shield recharge rate. But trust me - I've been testing a 6/6/4/6/4 build and the base recharge rate is still pretty good.


without the matrix... no base shield recharge rate is good...

I've done some thinking.  I think that reducing the duration sucks, and limits the effectiveness of the ability for anything except a medigel alternative.  I have a better idea for how to nerf matrix. 

What would be more ideal is if it required the use of your actual medi-gel in reserve to self revive. It's a start.  Or give it a long cooldown instead, so you can't activate it immediately after getting downed once.

Compare this to biotic orbs/recon mine.  You activate it initially, like either of those powers (in this hypothetical 'fix') securing a revive the next time you go down.   When you do go down the cooldown starts, like either of biotic orbs/recon mine.

For comparison, the collector adept has the same starting health and shields - where he can increase his by 65 percent via fitness, EDIbot can only do 55 total, max.  I can imagine her shield regen rate might be ridiculous, with fitness at max and matrix turned on.

I think bioware did a fairly good job balancing her; so if there's going to be cause for nerfing her, there has to be something more substantial than what people have come up with so far.

Most infiltrators get a stagger ability of some sort, many have an ability that increases weapon damage/weaknes armor etc in compliment to their snipery/TC stuff.  Proxy mines, energy drain, the vanilla cryo ability, grenades, etc.
All except cryo have significant crowd control stagger ability.  All of these abilities can be used at great range, or up close.  

As for TC with shotgun boost being overpowered? no more than with sniper rifles or AR's, with the possible exception of when EDIbot uses the reegar.

To do major changes BioWare would need patch, and that's unlikely.

So in my opinion they will just nerf the damage reduction given plus duration ( maybe in 75% ) and the speedbonus, oh yeah, the speedbonus.

i think a final patch is possible.  this was a big enough dlc release that enough bugs and what not from it will require one.  my game froze yesterday when i summoned swarm, hit the ammo box, both as the extraction round began.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but aren't kit nerfs due to overuse? I remember a dev saying something along those lines when the Demo was nerfed. Something about her being picked over other Engineers. Speaking of which, when was the last time you saw a Demo? I haven't seen one since that nerf, but I don't think it was that drastic.

my definition

OP = An kit/loudout/weapon in the game that creates an inbalance, so that the kit/loadout/weapons are chosen over all other options at a consistently higher percentage..

like the krysae

ex. Rio/Gold.... when players consistently choose to play a particular map/combo and use a particular strategy at the expense of all others... its a problem....
