So last night I bought 20 packs to get me some new stuff and unlocked all characters except the Krogan and Geth.  I played 1 match as each of the other new characters and I must say that I am pretty disappointed.  Now this was only a very very small sample with 1 match each but I'm not really liking the Cabal, AUI, Adept or Talon.  

I was looking forward to using the Cabal for Poision Strike but I found it to be really pointless.  Unless you right through an enemy at point blank range, the attack is nothing more than a quick dodge.  I love the Poision Needle things as I have them speced for AoE and they hit like 3 enemies at a time at a lot of damage.  I also don't completely understand the 3rd power so I'm probably not using it right.

AUI.... what?  Tac Cloak and Snap Freeze?  Snap Freeze doesn't seem to do any damage even while cloaked with the bonus damage and they seem to break out of freeze within a few seconds even though I have duration.  She doesn't seem like a great offensive character aside from her Tac Cloak and Shotgun bonuses.  If that's the case I'll just stick with my MQI where I can use my Arc Grenades and have a better time.

I love the idea for a Collector Adept but the recharge speed is just WAY too long though I did auto level up for my first go around just so I can get used to his powers at my level without thinking too much.  That was probably my first mistake.  I do like Dark Sphere so I just have to get it under the current 8 second cooldown and I'll be good.  It would also be helpful to know what triggers the detination.

My Talon doesn't even move cause of some sort of glitch and the bow is EXTREMELY underpowered so he's kind of pointless until bioware decides to buff him a little and fix his bug.

Obviously this is just a very very small sample and not much to go by but my very first initial impressions of these characters aren't the greatest.  I'm sure once I read more and use them more I'll like them.  I can't wait to unlock the Krogan and Geth.  I really want to like them...... we'll see
