Still no luck.

Used exclusively Reserve packs, but nothing ever came of it.

The only Character I got which seemed somewhat special was the Battlefield 3 soldier.
But I'm not interested in that one, so didn't bother with it.

Geth Soldier is also on my list to obtain but no luck with that so far either.

Darn, I'm not going to be happy if I have to max out a bunch of worthless character options just to acquire 2 specific characters.

No, but seriously: He was a huge disappointment to me. I only play him from time to time because of the cool idea to be Collector but... That's really the only reason.

I'd be more than happy, if I'd finally get anything from the other unlockables, such as all other characters and weapons like the Lancer.

Compared to that, they're all bad! 

But I'm a longtime Collector fan, so would like to have the experience of playing as one, just for the fun of it.

I probably won't use him again after the initial trial, but it would be interesting to do it at least once.

I did get the lancer though which is the best thing is the DLC to me.

Dark Channel + Dark Sphere + Collector/Prothean Weapon = Pretty good damage output

Add 40% damage resistance and a dodge as good as the Asari (without burning barrier to do it) and the Vorcha, and it's a pretty durable character too.

Spent 6-7 million since the DLC dropped, still haven't gotten him. I'm saving up to 2 or 3 million again before I go on another pack-buying spree, though.

I have gotten two Awakened Collector cards.

I've spent millions of credits since the DLC released.

I finally did manage to obtain my Awakened Collector.

And well, granted, I wasn't expecting much, but I was least expecting something!

According to the info gathered from another topic, the Cooldowns for the powers are unusually long compared to other characters.

In my first field trial, I was lucky to be able to use them at all!
Judging from the results, I doubt there will be successive field trials! <_<

A Biotic based class that can barely use the powers at all?
That seems like flawed implementation to me.

Cooldown, cooldown, cooldown, dead.
It's like playing City of X all over again........

I've spent approximately 180 million credits since the Day of Reckoning, and I still have yet to get an Awakened Collector. Buying Reserves Packs exclusively for the first three days, then Premium Spectre Packs, and now I alternate Spectres and either of the other two.

I have gotten 3 Collector cards in PSPs so far.  I haven't gotten a single card for any of the new Rare characters, except for the one guaranteed card (Warlord) I got in the Gift Pack.  So, kinda weird... but it's not that hard to get the Collector (EDIT: at least not compared to UR weapons).

Now, my mmo pulls this scam all the time, they get you to spend a lot of money chasing an incredibly low drop rare item, then adds a new rare item to chase a few months later.

So, you can understand why, if the same rules apply here, I'm not going to spend any money chasing a character I have a snowball's chance in a furnace of obtaining.


So, as a rough estimate, assuming you buy only Reserve packs, how many would you have to buy to get an Awakened Collector?

Just delete all your DLC except for the one you want stuff for and save up a mil in credits, I got the Collector maxed out in two days.
