I just discovered an awesome thing about Juggernaut and want to share with you guys

Build

Weapon: Adas Anti-Synthetic Rifle with Extended Mag and Extended Barrel

But Crimson Vanguard, we all agree that the Adas was butchered. Ok we all knew that the Adas ate the nerf bat when it was implemented into MP, but most of us haven't known that even though got nerfed, the Adas still capable to:

-Trap all type of infantry (including armored one like Dragoon, Pyro) in an endless stagger and stunlock hell which mean they will be staggered to death like how Geth Prime Pulse cannon does to us.

-The Adas beams can track and home into target that are locked.

-With Disruptor Ammo it can deplete shield of Bosses pretty fast from a distance and  set up tech burst for more stagger and stunlock.

-With Extended Mag you can stagger and stunlock multiple troopers at the same time by switching between targets.

-Also carry a sidearm that can help you shred armor from bosses.

Strategy:

Stay in a position that gives you the whole view of the map (ex: the middle of Rio), allow you to lock-on and deliver stun-lock to troopers. Move to teammates and help them when you think the situation can go sour. Focus on tanking and staggering troopers. Provide support for them with Turret and Hex Shield. Don't get too carried away and try to tank more than you can handle. Combo tech with teammates using Siege Pulse.

Tips:

You can cancel the "Pulse Loading" animation with light/heavy melee.

Using heavy melee during getting up animation will slowly refill your shield.

Only using Adas on-host.

My desire to use the Flamethrower on the Geth Turret is the only reason I might not try this. Other then that I really like it!

This is my build, except I go for armour damage instead of extra shot on the pulse cannon.

Adas is an interesting one. I'm still hunting for the right weapon on him, will give it a go.

i skip geth turret, i leave it to geth engi. i rather max out the hex.
siege...oh, how satisfying hear that sound of it, but this sound comes from MY weapon :D i also use the armor/shield/barrier damage.
and i like the spitfire on him. i have it lvl 2.i tried the adas lvl 10, but i found it luck-lustre. spitfire may be a bit weak, but i like the sound and i like that i can constantly fire it for long long seconds.

I went full Hex with shock evos [no turret] and after one match I figured it's not worth it. Wanted to use the shield to stun mooks if I get overwhelmed, but both the range and damage from those evos are underwhelming. Of course, I didn't die [barely possible with him on gold, esp. against Reapers], but one respec card must be wasted.

I also discovered the beauty of stunlocking with the adas today. I want to get the 200k challenge for it so decided to solo so I wouldn't be a burden on a team. Used the juggernaut too, for survivability.

I had two collector troopers and a possessed captain locked down at once because of it's splash. Takes longer to kill than you'd like of course, but it's not like they're shooting back. I think if the adas' damage was buffed to a reasonable level (not too much of course) this could be a solid gun for people wanting a CC weapon.

I tried him yesterday and specced him on the fly to full Hex shield, which was a mistake in my opinion.
I´llt ry your build later today, but like HolyAvenger wrote,I´ll specc SP for armor damage.

Geth Plasma Shotgun.

Begin Charge -> Siege Pulse -> fire fully charged GPS -> rinse and repeat. It's a very smooth, steady output of damage.

Also, GPS ignores armor, and doesn't need AP mods. Rather, you can equip that good ol' Omni-Blade, which just so happens to allow you to kill gold phantoms in one burst of heavy melee pulses.

Another pro-tip: Juggs' heavy melee bypasses guardian shields. Doesn't pick them up, but kills them anyways.

Also not sure if everyone knows this: Juggs' heavy melee charges your shield regardless of what enemy you are hitting. Health, armor, shields, barriers... doesn't matter. It always regens shields.

One more thing: don't underestimate the heavy melee's range. I've hit targets and thought to my self "seriously? that far? lolz?"

Juggernaught gear, adrenaline mods (seriously don't need cyclonic, but that would be lolz), strength enhancer, and I was topping gold matches with this supposedly useless (offensively) kit.

Juggernaught is godly.

I don't find the Geth Turret that useful and spec'd out of it on my third Juggernaut build. The amount of shields restored is quite small compared to the amount of shields the Juggernaut has.

@OP: I saw your Juggernaut in action today. I was the falcon-punching Volus in our Gold/Rio/Reapers game earlier today.

I recognized your name from BSN. The Turret mainly for distraction and provide support for teammates, that why I specced it for full shield restore.

I still don't understand why you spec for shield restore. Your tanking is enough support. Flamethrower -> Pulse -> BOOM is too hard to pass up if you are in fact putting points into Turret.

After a half dozen rounds of Juggernaut, I'm realizing that the Hex Shield actually has limited use, and is in fact slightly bugged.

I feel that (since your fitness shields buff HEx anyways) 3 ranks suffice, just for objectives and choke points.

I use the same build, but I don't put any points in the Hex Shield.

Just go for 40 DR from Siege Pulse, never shoot it and just maw down everything with Typhoon.

Stupid tactic, but it works.

I like heal turret too. I pop it down whenever i'm gonna post up or when i reach the enemy for tank time, or just every few meters that I move.

I'll have to try the Adas. Still playing with what weapons work best.

I put 3 in Hex Shield, and make my turret fully offensive, since I can restore my shields johnny on the spot when I want, I just throw a turret in the middle of mooks that I can't reach or to do extra damage on bosses. And the Spitfire for enemies across the map, and he's a perfect teammate for ANY team. Every Silver match I played, I never went down. I'm still thinking of doing solos with him to get my solo mastery outta the way.

Yes, ADAS on him seems to be much better than stupid Spitfire. Crowd control FTW

This is almost the exact build I've been using, although I went 36665 instead.

I use the same build but skip one rank of passive instead of the turret frequency perk.

Healing rate going down to 3 second from 8 is just really handy at time, but yeah, 3 points of hex shield is all you need to protect yourself from that surprise ravager/sion, definitely worthwhile.

The point layout is very similar to the Juggy build I eventually settled on, but some key evolution differences.  I'm loving this guy... err, platform.

The build template
  • Siege Pulse:  Damage, Damage Protection, Resistance Damage
  • Geth Turret:  Shield Restore, Armor Damage, Flamethrower
  • Geth Juggernaut:  Weapon Damage, Stability & Ammo, Weapon Damage
  • Hardened Platform:  Durability, Shield Recharge
  • The last 6 points are a toss up between Hardened Platform's rank 6 Squad Command or the first 3 ranks of Hex Shield. When playing with friend's that will actually stay near your Prime, Squad Command increase the team's overall DPS and helps your Heavy Melee kill enemies a little faster while your draining their shields. However I went with the latter, Puggers don't seem to be smart enough to stay near the aggro-drawing tank and it can be helpful to throw up a quick little Hex Shield to block incoming high damage attacks.

Love the Raider and the Claymore the most on the Juggy. For how I play him, you want a high burst damage, close-range weapon that is good at priming enemies.

Basically you get the 3 Siege charges up, find enemies, throw the Flamethrower Turret, unload both Raider shots, then hit the Siege Pulse button 4 times to rapidly fire all 3 full damage blasts (detonating Fire Explosions from the Turret and Incendiary Ammo everywhere) and immediately reapply fresh charges. The damage output from all that will lay waste to whats in front of the Juggy before anything can do serious damage to it.

Typically you only ever fire Siege Pulse when your cooldown is free and always expend all 3 charges at once, both so you can immediately reactive fresh charges. That's a big part of the reason why I go Resistance Damage for rank 6 instead of number of shots. This less tanky, more damaging Juggy exposes himself (loses Damage Reduction) when unloading all Pulse charges so it's better to have more damage in less shots to minimize time without full DR active. The Resistance Damage also helps, along with the Fire Explosions, in breaking down bosses.

The Stability bonuses from Geth Juggernaut work well with the Raider, making it easy to quickly prime two targets. If one was to run solely the Claymore with this build instead, switch the rank 5 evo Power Damage.
