http://dragonage.bioware.com/addon/
Tells us that the RTO expansion is available this holiday season (this season is over so should be out right?)
http://dragonage.bioware.com/addon/rto
States all the information about the expansion as if it were available. No word of a delay, no nothing. If you click through to:
http://social.biowar...p?dest=checkout
Which automatically selects the proper "points" package and has you go through checkout.
Yet, when I actually go to download it, its not available. So I do some research and find that it has been indefinately delayed. I surely would not have purchased my bioware points today if any indication had been given that you could not actually purchase it. However, not indication was given through the entire process.
This is very misleading to your customers.
Thank You
Daniel

I agree. Those who haven't read the annoucement in the forums still think that RtO has been released, and come here to ask why they can't dl it.
Many people are going to learn this lesson well for future DLCs: check three times that there is actual content that you can dl before purchasing any points.

Same thing happened to me. On another forum on the bio-ware site it said something about a delay. but like all of you i bought points thinking I was going to be able to get the RTO and was unable to.

What all of the above said. How hard is it to toss in a note in the purchase area that this is not yet available.... very unprofessional.

Agreed. I have been waiting for it to come out and it is very misleading. Sorry to those that payed for it already but plus side you have the points when one does come out.

How much effort will it take for Bioware to post that its not yet available for purchase? It must be hard to type it on the keyboard.

Wow, I was just about to post something asking why I only have Warden's Keep available to download. I purchased points to get the Ostagar DLC but I see I too was burned by some false/misleading advertising.

So I take it that Return to Ostager is not yet available! I have been wondering 'cause I too have a thousand points and when I try to buy all I get is an option to buy more points ,, and it seems that these point I have are useless.

How does this work?
Return to Ostager seems to be available, $5 ok, or with points but you try to buy and you you seem to only be able to choose buying more points with your credit card and choosing one of those options.
I bought $20 worth of points to get other stuff related to DAO and that worked, but there is no ingame option to get this Return to Ostager.
I would appreciate a non cryptic answer.

There was a brief time when it showed a release date of 01/05/2010. But... it would be more helpful if it just said... "COMING SOON" or anything really.

I thought it was just the Console version that was reported as having some issues, I assume this
means it was affecting the PC version as well... If that's the case, I'm glad I didn' t try downloading
it yet then.
For the most part though, these people are right. There should be some kind of warning, or announcement at the website that states the availability of the material.

Ok, after a phone call to these great folks at Bio ware, I have found out that Return to Ostagar was pulled due to technical issues reguarding xbox, it is to be re-released very soon (no date given to me), however, due to my 1 hr long - long distace phone call, the supervisor was very good about making the problem / solution benificial. I was also told that the website will be updated accordingly / correctly.... so this problems does not reoccur.

I too was duped into buying points thinking I could download the RTO DLC package in game all because of the current way the Return to Ostagar page is laid out.

Like everyone else, I wasn't too pleased at all when I couldn't download RtO. I bought the points for both me and my fiance. Then again, I prefer my patience being tried over paying for something that's bug-ridden.
Don't rush releasing content, folks, but a warning would be appreciated.

Same here. I had heard that there were problems with the xbox 360 release but no one had mentioned the pc & the page is layed out in such a way that i thought the pc version was fine. They need to update the page with new info! I am not asking that they rush the DLC just a notice on the page would be nice

Yeah, I just tried to buy it too. My 400 points are gone but I can't DL Return to Ostagar. I don't want a product rushed but a warning on the store page would have helped.

I know I posted here three days ago, but I've not gotten an email telling me the transaction failed or that I'm getting my money refunded or ANYTHING. Did someone walk off with five of my bucks?

Purchased points 1week ago when RTO was to be released purchased points yet still no available download,Bioware has our Money and we still have no product and were mislead about Release, and is unfair to all who have paid and not received our product. What is Bioware's intentions at this point, and will we be reimbursed over their failure to complete our transactions, alot of talk on forums is DLC is flawed and if this business model continues Bioware will lose its future and existing customer base, Especially in the PC Arena, Secondly Why are we seeing reviews from players who have PC DLC of Ostragar and others of us still have no product we have paid for? Any reasonable response would be appreciated Immediately......
