I am making this thread, in recognition to thank Bioware for producing a fantastic sci-fi series. Mass Effect is one of those trilogies that I've invested hours upon, its unbelievable. I have been so excited ever since the release of Mass Effect 3; the story and the multiplayer section were great. When I first played Mass Effect 1, I wasn't so sure what to make of it at first, but I went and tried it and found so much happiness in such a great RPG. The storytelling, voice acting, game mechanics were amazing. The same applies for Mass Effect 2 and 3. I have replayed all three games so many times its ridiculous.

I love ME3's multiplayer section, it's a fun way to pass the time after you've finished the campaign, and I must say, I'm really impressed with the MP. It's so fun and addictive at the same time, I've been playing it so much in the holidays. I'm enjoying every bit of it. The campaign was also great especially the Tuchanka and Rannoch sections, because there's so much closure that the player feels after you end these two major conflicts. I know 2012 hasn't been great especially because of the ending debacle. I know there are flaws in the ending and even with EC, there are some notable flaws. But I wasn't thrown away by the ending, it made me realise that a story can't have a happy ending all the time; it makes it all boring. Instead, it showed the themes of sacrifice and death. So don't worry, I won't rage about the ending, because it defs didn't put me off from playing Mass Effect 3.

You've shown that you listen to fan suggestions, which is evident with EC and the multiplayer add-ons. Overall, I'm extremely happy that I became part of the Mass Effect franchise, I truly hope you guys succeed with the next ME installment. Till then, take care and Keelah se'lai!

:D

Yeah. While definitely not perfect, it has been incredibly fun. I look forward to what they come up with next, even though I will miss these characters and this part of the universe.

It's taken me a long time to become comfortable with the ME3 ending. Suddenly jumping from local hero to messiah of the universe was something I wasn't at all prepared for. The dozens of clues never did gel into a possible destiny for my Shep. And so, rather than scream in rage that I wasn't spoon-fed a happy little ending, I had to re-think and replay the story a number of times to understand how it all fit, and whether it all deserved remembrance in the fiction part of my memories.
There's a feeling I get in my gut when I think of my Shepard's life and story. A feeling that's reserved for fictitious characters that have meant something to me. Joy, sadness, admiration, anger, it's all there. But the unique thing is, this character came from a game, not a book or movie. And I created and molded this person. In 35 years of gaming, this level of attachment has never happened.
Many good games will come and have gone. I hope that before my gaming days are over I'll experience another that will linger in my daily thoughts like ME has.

@Mooner911 actually the ending had everything to do with mass effect, remember mass effect 1, sarens words, even when he was indoctrinated the concept of synthetics vs organics was still there said by saren, or it was a concept the reaper passed on.

On topic, thank you bioware for the best game ever that allowed me 300hrs of playing so far

MP particularly has been, and continues to be, an absolute blast when I wasn't really hyped for it.

Congrats always for all the hard work.
