Or just use the Katana on her.

Any reasonable thread on BSN defending anything of relevance will be ignored by the nerf nao crowd, who thinks we're scrubs if we fight in any fashion other than naked and with nerf bats.
Man, Man, Man. Just sad that people don't get why there even is a so-called "nerf nao crowd".
One should really have serious troubles when choosing the character to play. For instance, should I choose the AIU and go for close combat, the TGI to get the medium range bad guys, the GI for anti-boss artillery with the Javelin or perhaps a MQI for some decent fire support and debuffs?
Some things just deal omfgwtfbbq damage without being risky. Take the GIs glass cannon status for instance. A perfectly balanced class. But then, rendered obsolete by a Claymore AIU.
Personally I don't want her to be nerfed. Miss Kensington excels at hit-and-run attacks or as a Graal/Crusader sniper. A fine kit, but I still don't get how they could come up with the Repair Matrix after the TGI disaster....

she doesn't break the game period.
Everyone hasn't dropped everything else to play her, games that have EDIbots can sill go south if the person playing the kit sucks.
Is she silly good? Yes
could she stand to be nerfed somehow? Sure
is this the death knell for ME3: no
And frankly that is the way a lot of these posts sound

Incorrect, buggo. Shadow with Omni-Blade, full sword specialization, joints, strength, and so on can one-shot Phantoms on Gold with shield damage specialization. Infidrell's recon mine+homing grenade+huge weapon damage bonus grossly outclasses anything EDI-clone can do. Gethfiltrator laughs at this class's damage output and takes its lunch money. TGI with any top-tier rifle can take down a Brute or Scion easily from standoff ranges.
And no, her survivability is not better. Stim Pack laughs at you for even entertaining the notion. Even Energy Drain and Shadow Strike do a better job of keeping a competent infiltrator alive. The more you guys espouse that she's an I-win button, the more you all prove you have no idea what in the hell you're talking about in regards to class balance.
There's a difference between big damage numbers and DPS. Please learn the difference.
Also, if you think stimpacks are better than repair matrix for survivability, you're out of your friggin' mind.

The is broken. Even by infiltrator standards.
If you are on xbox I'll show you.

In all seriousness I don't see why everyone wants this game to be a contest of who can stand on hot coals longer. Stay away from it if you don't like it. It's not like you have to play with or use it.Kalas321 wrote...

In that case it at least needs some anticipation and sense of judgement to correctly use.
Doesn't change the fact this kit has an exclusive mechanic that dwarfes even medigel in its utility.

Note: She could be fixed by simple applying additional cost to her grenade upon revival. Though I do not think she needs to be nerfed.

Yeah, stimpacks are susceptible to lag and stunlock, among
other things. If by survive you mean “not go down” then sure, they’re better
than Repair Matrix. But in terms of absolute survivability, there’s nothing
better than something that can revive you even AFTER you’ve fallen.

Final evolution of the lolmatrix. If you go down and get back up for free you take 75% less damage. Activate lolmatrix again and you are completely immune to all damage for a while (except sync kills).
Incorrect. The game has a hard cap on DR of 90%. You are *ALMOST* completely immune to damage.
The hard cap only exists for the Volus shield boost.

You don't even need to do that. Because of her incredible speed while in repair matrix you literally can go on grenade runs at lighting speed. I was playing a game of platinum the other day (and I am not a regular platinum player) and I literally spent the entire game in repair matrix... I was completely unkillable

A shame about all this nerf talk on the Edi. I am mainly interested in a great character to use up my shotgun rails ( I have the GI for javelin use ),. I am playing my Edi character with the Geth scanner gear ( instead of any grenade capacity gear ) and have it speced so I only only hold two uses of the matrix at a time. So if they nerf it so it does not do the revive, then I'll still be ok.
They can nerf the revive all they want, but I want the shotgun bonus to be there.
Sorry I did not read the OP, but I am sick of all this nerf talk.
Shotgun bonuses are fine, and they work. Shotgun Infiltrators promote needed game variety which is integral to maintaining a player base.
However, a kit which literally makes others obsolete is a PROBLEM. E.G. Why would you ever use the base human infiltrator over the AIU? And i'm asking seriously.
I would, and do use the human infil because she plays differently. I don't need insto infinite revives. I play krosol because it playes differently. EdI is not going to change that for me, nor for the friends I play with. EDI doesn't have to worry about death, but I really don't worry much about it on any kit. No way in hell I am going to go down and have to gell 6 times in a match.
EDI does not make other kits obsolete simply because she doesn't play like every other kit. She is an easy kit to play, but she has plenty of company. I just don't see games flooded with edi bots, like i used to with the gethfiltrator, or the kroguard.
What I am saying is I understand your fear, I just don't see a lot of evidence backing it up. If I were to go with your reasoning, then I would be asking for a nerf to the new turian, because I see them a whole lot more often than edibot.

AIU actually breaks entire coop thing because you may not even care about your teammates and solo everything, except some difficult objectives

It already combines 3 very powerful things (tech armor, adrenaline module and ops pack) into one, it didn't also need to be free medigel.

Then I'll definitely be on the nerfing side :T
If not, then it's OK. I won't be using her much like the TGI anyway.

How do you figure. Team playing is a mindset, not a necessity in this game. Someone who is a team player is not going to suddenly stop just because of edibot. You need to come up with something better than that.
