Does anyone else wish that Fergus had died?
I know it seems like a terrible thing to wish for...but him being at the ending ceremony is just wierd and awkward. It just doesn't seem right.
I honestly think it would have been better if you actually were the "Last of Your Line".

I didn't wish him to die, but it did seem somewhat fortuitous that he survived and made an appearance only at the coronation. Probably if he were revealed to have survived midway through the game, it would have seemed a little more believable. But I'm sure there are other explanations.

I like that Fergus shows up, its just that the event is rather uninspired.

I liked that Fergus lived, though his being incommunicado for an entire year seems a bit whacko. I wrote a fanfic that fills in those months and explains why he doesn't turn up till the end. I guess if they had explained it so simply in the story, I wouldn't have felt the need to write the story. So it worked out for me quite nicely.

Yeah, you're right...I think that's the real problem with it.

I'm glad he lived.
...and now I want to write a fic about what happened to him.

I'm very, *very* glad he lived (and find it rather interesting that no matter what happens, there is an heir to the Cousland line), but they could have done it better.
He just... randomly shows up at the coronation, and the dialogue implies that this is the first time he and your Warden meet again and that the Warden hadn't known that he lived and yet there's quite the lack of celebration. It's all "Brother! You live!" "Yup. Sorry for being late, bloody Korcari Wilds." "No prob. What're you gonna do now?" "Eh, Take care of Highever, I guess. And you'll be marrying the Queen, right? Awesome." "Yup c:" "Go and have fun, I won't keep you any longer
"
You'd think their reunion would be a bit more emotional than that.

I'm glad he lived, he's going to be useful to my Arcturus' plans.

I'm glad he lived, he carried on the family name and took back their title and his sister became queen.
What gets me is it took him nearly a year to escape the wilds?? That man is determined!
