Some of the criteria we used to do for pre-judging:
If they left the template banner on it with no easy way to remove
Wrong dimensions
Bad scaling
Any English only text
A critical part of the image was on the left side (it would be covered by in game text)

Maybe if those criteria had been revealed at the start, you'd have had more eligible entries? Oh well, I guess it doesn't matter, the winning entries were brilliant anyway.

For combat mastery:

It's literally the best banner I've seen here.

There's no challenge with proper title for it.

They should just throw all the incredible banners such as this as the BotB alternative. I'd definitely do any challenge to wear it.

The Normandy SR-1 crashsite, the end of its journey.
Geth representative of Legion's journey for Shepard which effectively ended on the same world.
My favourite class for PUGing with which ties in with it being Map Mastery since PUGers roam through hosts and maps potentially.
The Mako is in the shot because it was also a representation of the old ME1 maps which you explored with it.

Also a slight pun on Star Trek since Nomad was also a roaming synthetic.

I dont envy the judges for the competition...there are simply too many good ones to choose from. I'm very happy with the ones we've got, but would've been equally happy with most of the ones I've seen on the forums.

I wanted to make a Biotic Mastery banner from the scene in ME2 where Shepard first meets Samara, where she bowls one of the mercs over then floats down. Right there as she's floating down would be a great shot. But, I got too busy and didn't get to it.

All the above banners are fantastic!
