Just an after-the-fact FYI, unfortunately, these may have not even made it past your initial email submission if you sent them with the faded border overlay (or if any of the text overlays were present). It's a bummer bc I think there would have been a lot more for the judges to choose from if people hadn't submitted work with overlays left on

Hmm...I sent mine as a .psd file with the art as a layer and the overlays/fades as their original layers.  Hope that made it past their filters...

Edit - Top 2 are N7-Link Fury (would've loved to see Link as the Fury Biotic God! But systique's [ I think I just slaughtered the name ] was very awesome, so it's all good), bottom is jkthunder Fury . Textures came out of other various in-game screen shots.

I think it should have made it through if you had the overlay layers shut off. They really didn't make all that very clear in the contest rules. I only knew because BroJo mentioned it to me in the final hour.

I really liked your Earth Mastery and Collector Mastery. Maybe with the release of the new Collector Adept they didn't want to use that image though...

Thanks! I did get them in on time though - at the very last minute (thanks again to BroJo telling me I could still send it in a little bit after the original closing time they had posted). There's just a lot of stuff I would have changed if I had more time.

Bug Mastery is the one I was hoping they would pick. As for bloodpack, I really hope that wasn't why because I had the overlay on it before and it looked just fine.

which one did you submit?

the first one is my personal fav and i would rock it over the drell banner that one... no hate on stysiqu (or however you spell it)

I think bryan said thats why they didn't pick some of them earlier in the thread.

The collector one is much better than what we got now. frankly there aren't a lot of black themes in the banners, so it would be really cool to see in game. On top of that it gives that ominous look that is very much associated with the collectors with u/u/p
