Even if Repair Matrix didn't autorevive, I would still spec into it. You're missing out on DR & Speed bonuses.

He has really low CP too. Did he get his account wiped?

I would be more likely to spec into RM with no auto revive. As it is it feels far too cheesy so I'm only taking 3 ranks on it, and thinking of skipping it entirely in the future.

What is a "bad" player anyway? Someone who possibly works full time

Sorry for the rant, but sometime i think these elitist players take things way to seriously.

So let me get this straight... a bad player, in a game with a dwindling community that's over a year old, is given something to help him from not sucking an entire game that requires you to revive them all game long.

Good players won't need it (I'm sure a good player will die every now and then and end up reviving). So how exactly does this affect you? Oh that's right, it doesn't!

lolol u rely on stlolms n matrlolx to kill enemies crutchcrutchomg

its a difference in skills. I used stimpack to boost damage to kill enemies faster and repair matrix speed boost to rush spawn. Most people i saw with TGI  and AIU used those and struggled to survive.

Grenade power = Map dependent + Team dependent. 4 bad AIUs is LOL on Glacier even with Grenade cap 5. I know. I was a juggernaut with 2 bad AIUs on hazard glacier

I guess you could look at it as a crutch, similar to stim packs. But in both cases, i see it as a means to play extra aggressive, which is fun game-play wise.

People fail to realize that the game difficulty, weapons, and powers get balanced against these God Mode characters. Which means that 500/500 characters with no shield boost/auto-revive/etc. really struggle these days. They're relatively much weaker than they were originally. Essentially, these new crutch characters make the existing characters worse off.

Of course you don't need to spec into the revive ability, but it's still there, combined with cloak. *shrug*

The point is that people are trying to protect this "unique" class by preventing a nerf to the auto-revive. But in reality it is just a cover up for people being too bad to play the game. This thread is a testament to show that those arguments are invalid. A useless ability for the class which only supports bad gameplay by bad players, that's all it is.

and why do you care again..... the claymore's a crutch? No....explain the type of game play that repair matrix will induce
