Greetings,

I played ME 3 when it first came out, primarily for the co-op multiplayer, but quit shortly after when I realized the item chests I was trying to unlock could give repeat items, and took forever to actually get anything good.

So I'm curious if the system has changed any since then.  Do people still get repeat items? Is it still a mindless gamble system?
