Material editor crashing when using Additive semantics

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem.  I'm making some FX materials, using the FX material type.  If I try to use any sort of Additive semantic, the toolset crashes when I post to local.  The only thing that works for me is Blend, but this then requires me to build a white texture with the image on the alpha channel, which is not ideal.

Tried searching, but it seems that not too many people post of the material editor.

Also, anyone have any luck animating materials?  Can't seem to figure out how to do that.

I've been having this problem, too, but fortunately the workaround is really simple. Use Blend in the material editor like you have been and post to local. Then open the new mao file(s) in a text editor, and in the DefaultSemantic tag where it says Name="Blend", change it to Name="Addv". Works perfectly; was just squealing giddily at the new glyph I put into the Vulnerability Hex vfx before I posted this.
