I need the space for a friend.

The player wasn't too helpful in a previous match.

The player clearly isn't suited for the difficulty. (I've had level 4 Human Sentinels in Platinum matches with Avenger I's. Uh, no thank you.)

That's really it.

- Abusive people
- To get a spot for a friend, I usualy either explain via voice chat or send a message after
- I guess I kick people who clearly haven't played much bronze or silver at gold. I'm just not good enough to carry them every wave...

No equipment on. I realize some people don't need equipment, but in my experience people with no equipment quit after not getting revived. This seems to happen more often than not. Just annoying. At least put something on to show you're serious about playing.

Why?

If you nuke spawns, then the game isn't challenging at all. You might as well be playing silver because you barely saw any phantoms/praetorians/banshees.

- on any level: people that don't help with objectives, do not give a damn about team play (even on bronze, its pretty boring to stand in that circle for longer than necessary just because some idiot thinks only about himself. Get it done and let everyone have fun) On gold and platinum I understand that stepping away can sometimes be necessary.
- on gold and platinum, low level char or no experience and/or no appropriate gear and consumables.
- kids with a voice and vocabulary of an 8-10 yr old....

I'll kick to bring in friends if there's only one random in the room. Two or more, I leave to create a new game. I also kick if someone is running a silly setup, like a Black Widow Fury, or if someone isn't working with the team. They have to be helping with objectives, reviving, and using gel and other gear.

I want to know your reasons for kicking other players from games based on their performance on a prior round.

I always have microphone on mute, hearing people talk while gaming is frustrating, so I dont know why I get kicked but it has happened a few times.

And its not for a lack of skill. Trust.

Explain away...

I used to never kick. Its not like we need the 4th random to ehlp or anythign anyway, but i have noticed taht i do kick people and its only people that get on my nerves so basically here are my pet peeves that'll earn you a kick

1) doens't help on objectives - This earns you an insta kick. 2 pizzas and a device wave and you were never near any of them? please. Had one guy like a week ago that was on the opposite side tryign to run up his score while we were getting teh pizzas. he even usd 2 missiles and the 2nd missile cause a sapwn right in the LZ where i was walking to (goddess) i was annoyed. at that momnet we all agreed he was getting insta kicked after the game
2) uses no missiles on wave 1-10 where it helps but burns all 5 on wave 11 cause he's in last on the scoreboard. - this gets you a kick. and its not cause i care about score, cause i really don't but if your gonna use missiles use them when it helps make the game go faster or helps during an objective. its not like yoru running low if you gonna use all of them on wave 11.
3) refuses to revive anyone even when next to them. - seirouslly i hate the try hard who has a downed teammate next to him and plenty of room to revive cause there is like 1 canibale and he killed it, then he runs towards the enemies and i have to run from across the map to revive my teammate. WTF dude. the 5 second to revive someone isn't gonna rflect the scoreboard
4) has no idea how to help on objectives - aka the guy who will camp a device when the other 3 are away form it drawing enemies away and they won't leave cause he is camping it. Or i'm cloaked with no enemies around and he brings a banshee or scion grenade barrage on my by standing on top of my ass.

For me, the main reasons I'll kick is if the player:

- Goes down multiple times every wave
- Refuses to gel
- Deliberately dies
- Scorewhoring/not helping with objectives
- Uses Electric/Biotic Slash as their primary means of damage
- has a low level character or N7 <120 in Platinum
- Is 12 years old, has a mic, and tries to give commands

On the other hand, if I need to free a slot for a friend, I'll send them a message of apology.

If they clearly aren't ready for the difficulty, like a level 1 character with a common weapon on gold they get kicked.

Its funny, I was half expecting to find 'lagging' or 'hacks' mentioned, but then this game actually works more or less.
Good to know most others dislike the objective dodging players also.

^this

especially if playing Bronze/Silver there is no reason to kick anyone.
Gold if kit level is under 10 sometimes. I wouldn't expect to stay in a Gold/Platinum lobby as a level 6 such and such. I'll play matches or wait for training before using that class in Gold matches.

I don't kick unless everyone has already placed 2 votes.

As far as why people may kick me: I only have 2 medi-gels in spite of spending several million trying to get them so I try to save those 2 for an incoming execution, or in case everyone else drops and I may have to finish a difficult wave.

Equipment wise I get tons of ammo bonuses and have a nice selection (albeit not very high) of varied gear bonuses. But I tend to get very few armor and weapon bonuses (and the ones I do end up with get wasted because someone leading rage quits because they are getting outscored) and I will not rock a sniper rifle when when it doesn't make sense to, just to fit a sniper rail amp 3 so my equipment boxes are nice and full. I am not a highly experienced player like many of you but I pull my weight and more often than not lead the map in medals or score BECAUSE I am constantly escorting or clearing a path for a drone.

Got into a silver map the other night (which I am almost to the point of being able to solo now) and as soon as I filled the spot I hear "no no no no no" and got kicked. Didn't have a chance to see what the group make-iup was in case I needed to ditch the Krogan Sentinel I was on for another class.

That's all I got, sorry for the wall-o-text.

B) was trolling and being jackass on the previous match
c) non sense loudouts, biotic gear on an engineer and shotgun amp when its using an smg and so on....
d) its saying **** on the mic and loud music..............

Same as when this topic came up 10 months ago:

1. If their account name is not pronounceable, I vote to kick.

2. If they are overly friendly I vote to kick.

3. If they have an N7 over 1000 I vote to kick.

4, If they use the GPS I vote to kick.

5. If they are a Krogan without a shotgun I vote to kick.

6. If they switch to a class that has better synergy with the rest of the team I vote to kick.

7. If they look funny I vote to kick.

8. If they don't equip Ultra Light Materials on any SMG besides the the Geth Plasma SMG, I vote to kick.

9. If they run a Quarian Engineer or Infiltrator I vote to kick because I am racist against Quarians.

10. If they have a higher level rare gun than I do I vote to kick.

Pretty much only if they consistently ignore objectives. I'm more interested in credits and ending the objectives fast so people who run around outside hack or drone circles annoy me. Especially when they die and expect you to revive them.

I don't kick for much, unless it's making room for someone or someone is taking an insanely long time to ready up. I often just leave lobbies.

I put a vote kick on people by accident all the time, since I go to check their load outs in the lobby, then decide to change kits, often for the sake of synergy, then hit the triangle button to go to the character screen -- it's always awkward because I don't usually have a mic and can't do anything except quickly cancel out the vote and hope no one noticed.

Basically I don't kick, but for about 3 or 4 reasons that rarely come up.

I never kick on bronze. Unless you never pick up. Or if you are too OCD on objectives. A few extra credits mean nothing when 3 are down and you are slow-riding a drone with 3 minutes on it. The game will be over if you are not paying attention on any high level wave with insta-kill opponents.

The people I want to kick on silver are those who waste medi-gels without waiting for a pick up. Before wave 5 on silver or higher, or use more than 1 or 2 on bronze. Useless waste of in-game currency. You get picked up for free at the end of the wave, and any useful player can solo up to wave 4 or 5 without much difficulty.

Gold I will kick from the forum if you have less than 300 N7, I will not game with you on Gold if you are too N00b. . . when you fail it is too pricey for me in time and credits and buffs, etc.

I also use to hate soloers. Now I just don't give them heals when they are far away. They spend more on medi-gel and they learn. And sometimes it's me, and I learn.

- if you consistently bleed out and make no effort to contribute. even if your score is measly, as long as I see you trying, reviving, doing objectives and putting on equipment you're okay.
- if you leach. sticking your thumb up your arse and hoping that the team will carry you to glory.
- if we need space for a friend. but if I'm feeling nice I'll make a new lobby

Kicking isnt realy required if you are courteous and ask player to leave lobby for a friend then they usually do MORE GAMERS SHOULD TRY IT. This courtesy doesnt hurt.
