I have a response to your commentary as well. I have never been grabbed going through a phantom with poison strike. Biotic charging a phantom means putting you within her grasp; poison striking her doesn't, unless you take the double dash evo, maybe.
Considering how much damage potential poison strike has, I think using it as just an escape route might help you survive platinum on solo, but it doesn't really seem optimal to not use it offensively, ever.

Well I only had the lancer l so it took awhile. I used assualt rifle amp lll, incend. rounds, and shield amp. Probably going to use phasic rounds next time because banshee shields are annoying. I mainly did what most solo's do, keep moving so that the enemies are under your control, also I kept at least one nightshade blade with me because it helped against phatoms. Her strike helped get away from troubled situations, and the husk wave, if its reapers.
