No you made an assumption it is tied directly to the weekend fix and to the collectors edition, it affects all editions. And it is not a bug with the weekend fix page.

then my N7 collector's edition spontaneously bugged itself? or what are you implying?

look, I tried all help channels, been waiting 4 days now, and still bugged and cannot play.

*edit* to clarify, I have tried the twitter, the online advisor, an online ticket (the chat isnt even working atm, just popups an unfinished page) and here..

Im sick to death of EA frackups, they will not help nor assist, same goes for twitter, I am peed off with the whole fracking game, tell me Bryan honestly who the frack can fix this, I have had alliance network dlc thing for ages now, EA screwed my game 3 times, I have a major phone bill from premium lines, ive asked here, twitter you name it, no wonder people are fracked off me included.

JohnDoe, I had the problem starting yesterday.  I didn't get it fixed until today.  EA support is bogged down right now because of all the SimCity problems.  It took another BSN member 2.5 hours before someone came up chat.  I did a few stints on chat and on their call back feature (US and Canada only, sorry) and was about to give up on the phone call back and try chat again, when my phone rang.  It is taking a long time. 

What BroJo said is correct, the link is not the bad guy here.  I have not used the link in several weeks.  After months and months of needing some kind of help to redeem my commendation packs, the challenges started working properly for me several weeks ago and I have not had to use the "fix it" link since.

Dude, believe me, I sympathize with you, I'm finally going to get to play tonight after two days of not being able to ... not what you've gone through, you've had it far worse, but right now the whole SimCity thing is making everything worse.  Eventually the blank chat box will fill in, but it may be quite a long time.  It sucks, but right now, that is what we have to deal with and BioWare unfortunately can't help us, this is an EA issue.

My day went this..

a) purchase Citadel
play MP
c) leave MP, install CITADEL
d) Play more MP
e) Finish LodeStar, leave MP, find that you're supposed to get 2 packs, find link to the "fix"
f) fix detects that lodestar had a big red NO and that it could be fixed, clicked on FIX
g) restart MP of my Collector's Edition.. instantly greeted with a "Redeem online pass" bug.
(note that I had this bug before by and caused by another expansion and was fixed not by EA but by a patch later on.)

My days went this way (spread over Tue-Wed-Thu-Fri) ...
a) purchase Citadel (Tue)
start MP, open gift pack, leave MP (Tue) (Crusader IX)
c) install Citadel (Tue)
d) play MP, earn comm pack (Wed)
e) open comm pack (Wed) (Crusader X)
f) play more MP, hit the store to buy some PSPs, promote a character, set up a new character for the next day to play (Wed)
g) start MP, get on line pass bug (Thu)
h) try to get through to EA to fix bug (Thu-Fri)

I hear what you are saying, but I got the same exact bug, without ever going to the repair link.  As far as I know, the only difference between Wed and Thu was the name of the day, nothing else changed for me, no Origin update, no link help, no additional downloads.

Not even that, this bug predates the Citadel DLC.  Lots of guesses as to what causes it, sounds like BioWare is narrowing down the possibilities, but this is not new.  That's one of the reasons why this stickied thread was created, because the online pass issue has plagued folks for some time.  This time it was my turn and your turn to have some fun.  Our timing sucked because of all the SimCity problems tying up EA tech support.

If it does not show you have a problem, refresh the page, refresh again, go to another page and then come back, the "fix it" link should show up.

Know the feeling, I got the first Online pass issue as well, (which ironically was after installing another expansion as well)

It just felt so weird to click FIX and then BAMF!!.. my online pass gone!

The online pass error is caused by receiving entitlements, and when you receive to many of them (for some) it no longer authorizes the online pass.

Not sure if I'm the only one having this issue (or if this is even the right place for it), but I've completed Lodestar (Normal) and only received a single Commendation Pack. Is the second to be received at the end of the event, or am I just missing something/some obvious solution?

OPERATION LODESTAR glitch - Complete on platinum = N7 centre only recognises silver/gold (standard) completion BUT shows Insanity as being a success.

Now I've got online pass surprise... Everything was great, got 4 platinum games with all enemies, pressed the fix challenge pack button, got all 3  comm packs and then bought the citadel dlc.... tataaa - can't enter the MP now... and what worse - I've forgot my answer for my secret question... now I'm in the army of EA HATERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tired of waiting for dummies in live chat to chat with me with the result of nothing! ORIGIN really need to be dead, and I'll be happy if this will happen!

Thinking about to not to use origin at all, this is already gone too far! All I want is to play games that I've bought, nothing more. Origin can't do even this.

Got restored my pass with the help of a live chat advisor, but this is not changing much...

Including "Collector's Edition Online Pass Access-Authorisation (translated from german)" ?

yeh I have the online pass issue after getting the Citadel DLC, a complete joke imo

have sent a message to support via the official channels but no reply yet, live chat is completely pointless, moreso because of the Sim City 5 debacle

Great job at breaking something that has been working before. Contact EA Support, really? Wait for advisor 60+ minutes (as in from 60 to infinity?). Just yesterday I played MP without any problems and now I have no Online Pass. Ugh. There goes my try at Platinum challenge...

Downloaded Citadel today but can't play it because From Ashes and Collector's Edition Online Pass Entitlement can not be authorized, again, just great.

EA chat does not seem to be working either, all you get is a white page.
