Yeah Bioware, a challenge with 125% is NORMAL in your opinion, right? That's an interesting point.

There is a bug yes, but it is a fairly minor one.

Do origin accounts in general only get 1 comm pack? I have completed the challenge on xbox and pc and haven't gotten a pack on my xbox account. the one-click-fix shows that it has been awarded. Posting here because you said you had hundreds of PMs.

Bryan I have been in touch with EA and its been a nightmare, over 8 hours on a premium line and still when I log in I get that message unable to authorize dlc, even though it states it is all installed, wt* im annoyed with ea and also the time wasted for nothing, in the end they have said to try a new email account and start from scratch, as if I would do that. I downloaded the new dlc hoping it would correct the problem and nothing, I have uninstalled, reinstalled, same with origin, changed platforms and still the same, they gave me a standard online pass, then the collectors edition pass, then reverted them all, got the online pass issue, they gave me the collectors edition pass, I can play multiplayer but still get that message when checking for content, even twittered and no help.

Now I'm having problems with my Oline Pass, then I have no way of knowing if I also have other problems mentioned above. To make things worse EA Brazil is not offering the live chat assistance... Another "good" surprise!... Now I wonder if I will have any solution for this problem yet this weekend, but I think it is unlikely!

 I didn't recieve commendation packs from my last two weekend operations. I thought I should share my experience how this is fixed.

1. I logged into my N7HQ account,  and then used this link from OP http://social.biowar..._challenge_fix/.
2. Clicked the fix button on the weekend challenge fix page, and then logged out BSN account;
3. Logged onto EA server through the Origin client to start ME3 game.
4. I got the server-unavailable-at-this-time warining screen upon the game start page. Clicked the muliplayer menu item anyway, I found all characters I'd unlocked were lost except for the basic kits.
5. Tried step 3 the 2nd time. The game was crashed while entering multiplayer mode.
6, Everything seems normal at the 3rd time trying. I was able to see two commendation pack items on the store screen. Redeemed the 1st pack whitout problem. But for the 2nd pack, I got the server-unavailable warning screen.
7. Tried step 3 the 4th time. I got the 2nd commendation pack automatically upon launching multiplayer . Went to the store just to check, I was surprised to find there was still a commendation pack left there! :-DDDDD, thank you BW, I think it's the perfect compensation for the inconvenience I had to go though for the fix!

Oh what the hell. After a year that online pass issue still exists. One would think that's not a "minor issue". Of course that happens to me on a weekend.

My online pass has vanished so I guess I'll have to call EA on the phone to get the game I paid for working again. Which will cost me another 10 bucks for the call. Why not use the online chat u say? There's no link for UK customers, only email or phone. Plus the staff that deal with the email support are total noobs whereas the phone staff, although expensive know to fix the problem.

Fact is, I bought the game, my account information proves I bought it and all the DLC so what is the frak king problem? Abolish the draconian DRM do it like Steam does - have an automatic email de-authorisation/re-authorisation code sent to the account holder's email address so we don't have to waste time contacting EA

I used the online chat earlier here in Australia. It should work from anywhere in the world. Waited about 30 minutes to speak to a rep who got me going about 10 minutes later.

But yes EA's DRM needs to go. I doubt I'll by another EA game with DRM the way it currently is. Fed up with being treated like a criminal for a legally purchased game. Pirates care nothing for DRM except as a game to see how fast they can break it!

Last night, I had an issue with redeem/purchase online pass. After checking the forums, I found out that I had to use the live text chat to fix this problem. But there was another problem. I forgot my security question. Luckily, after half an hour I remembered. :D It was quite funny. I commend the adviser who had enough patience for my brain who was quite absent late at night.

The worst part about origin is that it scans ur PC's hardware configuration. So when u upgrade motherboard or processor, it then sees the hardware has changed and thinks ur an account thief and says that's not the correct computer u first installed origin on. And ultimately locks u out of your licences. So in June when the new CPU's come out and I upgrade, I'm gonna have the same sh*t happen to me all over again

Probably whats happened to me then, i switched to windows 8 pro and upgraded my graphics card, oh well, ME4 can go rot, I wont be bothering with it, sick to death of no help at all, you would think they would have a clue, obviously not, im annoyed over this, will get the citadel dlc and that will be it, I will be moving on to something else.

Finally got stung with the online pass issue.OriginTwits aren't responding so went to *gulp* EA Live Help.Not had much luck with them in the past,and am currently sitting with a:

"Please wait while we connect you to the next available advisor. Your approximate wait time is between 90 - 95 minutes."

message.Off to a great start.

The thing is, Steam have counter-measures and working solutions for DRM but EA fail to acknowledge what works for other companies. It's EA's way or the highway. What's stupid though is that they have the potential to be as good as other companies such as Valve and Origin COULD be as good as Steam but they choose not to be. It's pig-headed ignorance

My own issue was resolved through live chat, but for future reference: is there a known set of conditions under which the weekend challenge fix page causes problems with the online pass? I think I may have managed to trigger it this weekend, but that's the first time it's happened.

Set your Country to US in the EA website and you'll be able to chat with an advisor. It didn't help much though at least in my case. Good luck :)

My Elite Challange didn't reset after I unlocked the banner. I don't know if it is intended of if it is one of the bugs this topic is about.

Why we don't have any compensation for game troubles? For example, I should wait another 45 minutes to start live chat about online pass problem, and my friends start platinum games without me. They probably earn about 500k credits wile I just waiting online pass solution. May be it will be a good practice to compensate my waiting time with similar amount of credits.
