Isn't there a Batarian in ME: Galaxy who is really fat? I never played it, but I could of sworn I saw artwork of him.

Because everyone in the game is in shape.
Shepard's in shape even if he gets a little soft around the edges.
All Asari are in shape. It would have been awesome to see a fat Asari... or perhaps even seing Aria like a Fat lady of crime. Like Jabba the Hutt.
The Quarians are in shape... dem jiggly bum bums.
The Turians are in shape... they have flexibility and reach.
The old people of earth are in shape. Udina is in shape. Chawkas is in shape. Damn, i want to be a senile with THAT kind of body.
Sexbots are in shape.
Even Pilots with Vrolik syndrome are in shape.

Or perhaps there is a codex entry i am missing? Explaining how every being in MEU is in good shape.

I wouldn't say Matriarch Aethyta is "in shape."
Quarians are not ALL in shape. They could be sickly skinny under those suits.
We don't know what Turians look like under their armor, but most of the Turians we meet are soliders, anyway, so they WOULD be in shape.
Udina is not in shape. He's not fat, but he's not in shape.
Sexbots, by definition, are in shape.
Joker HAS to be in shape, or else his fat would crush his bones even when he HAD to walk.

They use presets. Much like Fallout, everyone is in shape, even the old people. Creating different body types for each and every character, major and minor, would use up way to much memory. They already had to remove holistering your weapon due to memory limit. Even if they could, I doubt they would, people don't want to see obsese people in a video game.

There were fat people in Fallout, just not too many of them. (I'm talking about the real Fallout games now, not the should-never-have-been-made Bethesda games)

But those were good fallout games!! I've played the orriginals and still like FO3 and NV.

NV was made by Obsidian, not by Bethesda, even though it used the same graphics, furthermore, many of the people working on Fallout 2 and Fallout 1 actually worked on NV, too and a lot of things that were intended to be in van Buren actually made it into NV.

But McFlurry, I am with you on FO3

In ME 1, there was one chubby C-Sec officer you can talk to (who's name I forget). I believe he was near either Dr. Michel's office, or in the space between C-Sec and the stairway to the markets.

Officer Lang. His face is chubby, but his body is the same as any other male in ME.
