installing a new operating system.

I have Dragon Age saved to E, windows installed to C.  I copied out "My Documents" , formatted C, installed windows 7, copied "My Documents" back to C drive.

Now it's telling me that my DLC is no longer tied to my account (the same account) and that I can't restore my saved game?

PS - As a gladly paying customer I utterly despise this crap form of DRM and if this kind of problem presists I won't buy Mass Effect 2 even though I was really looking forward to it.

Fixed: Delete the two files

username\\my documents\\bioware\\dragon age\\addins\\dao_prc_cp_2

username\\my documents\\bioware\\dragon age\\offers\\dao_prc_ocp_2



Then make sure you have you dragon age service running (services.msc from run menu).



Better question: what in the world would tech unsavy users do?
