After every orgin, you and Duncan go straight to Ostagar by "traveling south, through the Hinterlands." I would have loved to see a camp scene before Ostagar. Perhaps even some travel time with Duncan. Duncan is supposed to have this huge impact on you and is considered your mentor, but you only knew him a week, as Alistair says.

I would love to see, perhaps in a DLC, that once your orgin ends, you go to the travel map screen and can choose to go to Ostagar straight away, or go to camp. While there, go through some kind of training with Duncan, get a little bit more info about the Grey Wardens, maybe even a small battle with some Darkspawn. The scene in the begining of Kingdom of Heaven when Liam Neeson trains Orlando Bloom a bit to fight comes to mind. I just think spending a bit more time with Duncan, would not only be great, and talk to him about his own history, for those of us who have not read the books yet, and it would cause a greater impact on his death.
Just a thought.
