[The Amethyst Dragon]

This month's challenge is "Heaven and Hell":

Celestial Angels, Infernal Devils, thier homes, servants, residents of thier lands, blessings/boons, holy/unholy weapons armor and other trappings, lords and ladies of heaven and hell.

This theme was suggested by Carcerian.

Guidelines:

• It must be fully working in game.
• Use of vanilla NWN or publicly available texture is fine, though state-of-the-art amateur's work would require 100% original work, but that's up to you.
• Teamwork is welcome.
• Beginners most welcome, don't be afraid, just try, you'll be surprised!
• All submissions must be finished, working, and emailed to NWNCCCMakers@gmail.com (or a non-Vault link provided) by March 1st, 2013 at 10 AM EST. Sooner than that is perfectly fine too. ;-)

Somethings you could include in the download/email that would make packaging everything up easier and faster:

• 2da lines needed.
• Screenshot *from in game* for use on the vault page (this also gives me hints on how to display the new goodie).
• Portraits (if needed) of your new goodie. ** Placeables and monsters should include a portrait. **
• Inventory icons (if needed) of your new goodie.
• Any credits you would like listed.
• If this is your first entry, please tell me what name you would like your work listed under and provide a link to your other NWN content if you want that displayed as well (the link bit is totally optional).
• Also if you would like an invite to the CC Makers group, send Rolo Kipp a friend invite. The group is nothing spectacular, mostly just documentation on 2da lines.
• If you are doing tileset content, *please* let me know ahead of time so I can get you the set and itp files to work with. I’m horrible at merging those so this bit you will need to provide.

Remember, the Challenge is all about fun, sharing, creativity and surprise!

Wouldn't that fall under servants, as in "their homes, servants, residents of thier land"?

Maybe they should have called it Heavens and Hells.

It would make sense to allow anything from those planes for this CCC, else it might get a little stuffy and unproductive.

I would assume AD's use of the terms Celestial was intentional, which in DnD terms includes all Angels/Devas, all Archons, Eladrin, and Guardinals, and, as per the description, things and creatures related to them, their environs, ect. For the reverse, I would assume Infernal means any and all Demon Lords, Abyssal or Baatorian demons and devils and their related fiendish creatures and environs.

Also, as I have seen before, it certainly wouldn't be restricted to DnD either.

Seconded.  First person to get in the way of modders having fun gets a Devilish Dutch Rub*.  There should also be an informal rule that if you ask whether you can make something, you have to actually make it if the person in charge of that month's CCC says yes.

Cestus will be doing the first of The Damned series: The Heartless. In life the Heartless (like some pink dude) built a wall between their souls and the people who loved them. They simply couldn't be bothered to care.

In the afterlife they finally get to *feel*. They feel *everything* because they've been skinned, their every nerve exposed to the caustic environment of hell. They are also both fodder and minion to Rolo's most horrible enemy, the demon prince V'rax'l the Flenser (see the Oct '11 CCC if you must :-P ).

So I finally get to tell Cestus to make naked people.) Very, very naked... ;->

If he has time, Cestus will also attempt to forge the Armor of Light worn by the archangel Merriadeth (who wields Red Mercy).

Not my use of the term "celestial".  I just copied the text from the theme suggestion.

From my reading of the theme, I'd assume pretty much any celestial/angelic/heavenly/hellish/devilish/demonic beings, items, objects, placeables, tilesets, spells, creatures, clothing...whatever fits the theme and can be made.

Look up what Seraphim, Cherubim and Thrones look like if you need an idea on the Angelic side. Angels weren't just people with wings and tended to be... Well, look them up

Seriously, if someone makes a Throne I will forever be in their debt. I'd give one a shot, but well, where do you even begin with those things? I cannot fathom how they'd even animate

Might take a stab at a few of the Aers Goetica demons because we all need more Stolas in our lives
