+1 And MAC was the tippy top of the curse word pyramid (still is to me at least).

Also you forgot the naked part, had to walk 15 miles naked in the snow, up hill, both ways. School in those days was where you actually learned something and if you messed around they did more than just talk to you.

At least all of you are on a level playing field.

I have played with far too many PC peasants that think that just because they have a mouse, it makes them part of a master race.

This is a lie.

Bow before your masters PC peasants.  Until you own a mouse with seventeen buttons such as I, you shall all be peasants.

tl;dr: How the hell do you guys play games without a Razer naga?  I broke out my laptop and a normal mouse over at a friend's house the other day and did absolutely horridly as I couldn't do crap without taking my hands off either movement or aiming.

lol if you need a special gaming mouse to be good at a game you have gotten the "who is a bad player" issue confused

I'm more impressed that Holy Avenger solo'd platinum using a touchpad mouse than that your parents spoil you enough to buy you a 17 button mouse, in all honesty.

I love all the PC elitists I've inevitably dragged in. The Razer Naga is most definitely a game changer and superior. Just like how you all say the standard mouse is superior to controllers.

By using your arguments, I shall now state that I can play just as well with a controller as a mouse.

That's actually not far from the truth. I play many shooters with a controller. In fact, I enjoy the controller more.

Oh, but it's not pure console play because I use a Onza yes? Despite the fact that I can melee and use powers without taking my thumbs off the control sticks.

Nice to know you PC peasants get just as butthurt as the console peasants when your master lords their superior technology over you.

I'm an applications developer.  Thanks for trying though.  Not to mention proving my point.  A touchpad is worse than a mouse, hence why you are impressed.  My mouse is superior, so I'm impressed that you peasants can even play.

At least, isn't that the stance you all take against the console players?

Interesting... My views on the purpose of this post just changed. So is this a joke along with trying to figure out how people make do with non-gaming mice or something else entirely...

Man I loved those mice. Those ball mice were so much fun, I loved pulling them apart.

That's right, you would get your ass whooped if you stepped out of line.

I think a lot of kids would turn out better if we started beating them again. Ahh... the good ol' days.

Mostly just me playing ME3MP without remapping controls at all, so all of my consumables were on the other end of the keyboard unusable.  Didn't help that my laptop has aged quite a bit so my frame rate wasn't exactly up to par.

Tewi, from Touhou.  Honestly, the difficulty in Touhou is so far upthere that any difficulty in this game is trivial :P  For completely different reasons of course.  It takes a certain type of masochist to enjoy Touhou games.

Okay... I'm using a laptop with a similar keyboard to a normal keyboard. So when you say other end is it hyperbole? Maybe you should describe it a bit. I haven't seen normal laptop keyboards in quite awhile. My keyboard has the 1-8 keys on top of the WASD like normal keyboards so I do not find a problem with that.

My copy of ME3 is on xbox, but I do a lot of PC gaming, and my Razer Mamba works just fine. All I need are the two extra buttons on it,my fingers are quick enough to move over to other keys then back to WASD.

I just got a Naga the other day. The extra buttons are useful, but the mouse is a little too small for my hand, even with the different grips.

Will need more time playing with it to be sure, but at the moment I like my previous mouse (a Logitech Performance MX) a bit better, if only because it fit my hands better.

I think he means that his consumables are normally rebound towards the lower end of the numbar, as opposed to the (I assume) default of 9-+ or whatever.

I never really had to get used to it as all of my previous mice in the few years before it were super-tiny laptop mice, so the Naga seemed absolutely massive. That said, I grabbed it mostly to play MMOs, but was pleasantly surprised at how useful it was for other genres. Obviously you won't be using all of those buttons for them, but they're quite useful to have.

It's not the bigger part. It's the part where I can reload cancel by tapping 7 on the mouse. Or 1-3 to use powers without taking my fingers off the movement keys. And not going "Oh god oh god where the hell is 6" when I need to pop an emergency ops pack.

As a fingertip-user, I doubt that would be effective for me.
I have melee mapped to my thumb button and medigel to middle mouse button, but other than that I have no problems hitting 5, 6 or 8 to use the consumables because I know where every single key on my keyboard is located.

I like to smash my face against my desk out of frustration.

Also, gotta love brown mustard.

I never had any "gaming mouse" since I don't have that much money to invest in that kind of feature, but you get used to it.

The left click / right click and the wheel have always been enough for me.

I have a keyboard for everything else anyway.

*shrug*

Also, if you think you are better than another PC player because you have a bigger mouse, you are going to have a bad time.

This.

Not all of us can buy nice mouse with functions and macros and blablablabla

This is the mouse i have:

Pretty much it. I'd normally rebind such keys closer to the WASD keys, but the Naga spoiled me because it has 1 through the = sign mapped to a grid on the mouse, making it easier to just leave it as default.

Edit: Ah, good old ball mice.  I used to hate having to scrape the fuzzy crap off the inner wheels because all of a sudden my mouse stopped working.

I actually completely agree with this sentiment.

Playing with a mouse doesn't mean you're immediately awesome.

Owning a mouse doesn't all of a sudden give you twitch skills, accuracy, aiming precision or the precision to counter recoil.

Unfortunately, 99% of console peasants seem to think playing with a mouse gives you instant skillz. They are mistaken.

Right... this is probably an obvious question but why didn't you bring the mouse along? Its easier than say carting a desktop or laptop around.
