It's not the bigger part. It's the part where I can reload cancel by tapping 7 on the mouse. Or 1-3 to use powers without taking my fingers off the movement keys. And not going "Oh god oh god where the hell is 6" when I need to pop an emergency ops pack.
What if I told you that you can rebind keys.
I use Z,Q,E and C, respectively. So no loss of control as I see it.
Plus, being able to afford a fancier mouse doesn't automatically make you better.
I've got all the functionality I need from my 15$ mouse, I play on a crappy 4 years old laptop with 800x600, everything low, sometimes crippling hardware and connection lag and you don't see me **** about it.
Did I also mention that I'm a decent Platinum player despite all of that?

My mom never hit me because her mom gave her beatings. I turned out pretty fine actually; she mostly used guilt trips, and those were very effective....Alijah Green wrote...

As a console peasant, I do understand the PC master race brandishing their greatness; graphics are better, more customizable, more versatile, I get it. And to be honest, I'd rather play almost any single-player game on PC, I honestly can't think of one that I wouldn't prefer to play in that environment.
However, for me, multiplayer games on the PC are absolute hell. You're not just competing in terms of skill, there's connection differences, spec differences, mouse/keyboard differences, easier to mod, the console for multiplayer completely "levels the playing field." Everyone is (largely) using the same tools and same pieces to play, it just feels more fair to me.
ME3 is a weird beast for me because I play it on PS3 and PC. All my friends play PS3 but since I prefer the PC version of almost all games I have it there as well. When I run Golds on PS3, it takes roughly 30-35 minutes a match, 25 if it's going really well. I ran some Golds on PC recently for the first time the other night and they were consistently 20 minutes in length and the scores were evenly spaced, one round all of us having 90k+ points each. Silvers also tend to run into the 20 minute mark on PS3 while silvers on PC are between 13-16 minutes.
The playing field is pretty much level on PC and PS3, I don't see how PC spec differences might help (faster gameplay maybe? in which case just lower your graphics if you have slowdown), and honestly hotkeys are laid out better on a controller than a mouse and keyboard. I have yet to find a good reason why the PC games tend to run they way they do in comparison to PS3.

Edit - And I've realized I also dislike laser mice. Tracking is so unreliable compared to what I'm used to with optical mice.

After trying several different fancy shmancy gaming mice, and promptly returning them after a day or so, I realize that simple is so much better for me. I don't like tons of buttons on my mice, since there's plenty to go around on my keyboard (and I use a Nostromo keypad too). I have 3 on-the-fly DPI settings, mousewheel click set for reload cancel.. and thats all I need.
Edit - And I've realized I also dislike laser mice. Tracking is so unreliable compared to what I'm used to with optical mice.
See, I'm kind of the opposite. My Nostromo was probably the biggest waste of money for me. It's technically connected to my desktop but hasn't actually been used since I got it. My black widow keyboard is nice, but I don't really feel it's necessarily better than any but the cheapest of ghosting keyboards.
But hey, everything on my computer has blue LEDs. Everybody knows that it's better if it has lights.
Anyways, the best assumptions here are that I bought the mouse for ME. I bought the Naga because I play MMOs, and it's definitely killer there. It just so happens that it is also quite good for any games that assign commands to the number bar.
That said, I also have a mouse that I bought at a Microsoft conference. It's about an inch long and half an inch wide. It's adorable. Try playing a shooter with it for massive lulz.

you move left or right to avoid getting hit and can have super easy headshots, you are not playing the same game. Pc players like you have been exposed time and time again, yet they try to cling onto something, as I said before, it is better to move you low skilled players to another forum and let the real gamers post here

There was an interesting thread about how the consoles run at lower fps, and the host on a pc with 60+ fps makes the game more difficult as enemies shoot earlier...BUT aiming is far easier with a higher fps for landing headshots if you're capable. So if you're fairly good at surviving, the benefits outweigh the negatives and can lead to a faster game probably.

Better enjoy being the master race while you can. The next gen consoles will put us poor console peasants on the same playing field as the master race.

Unfortuantely, top end gaming PCs now are > than the PS4.
By the time the "next gen" consoles are released, top end gaming PCs will no longer be top end.... they'll be mid range.
So, by the time you get your peasant box 720, or your peasant station 4, there'll be much better PC hardware on the market.... And the cycle will continue to repeat itself.

I use wireless Logitech Performance MX mouse for all my gaming on PC.
Battery is rechargeable & one charge usually in intensive gaming period lasts around 15 days & literally you charge mouse 2 hours. #LOL
Mouse is beastly, expensive, but nice investment. Since everything in Europe is overpriced I paid this mouse 110$ brand new.
I highly recommend it.
Exactly what I used up until a few days ago. I was actually switching back and forth between that and the new Naga last night - the MX is the right size for my hand, and the Naga is on the small side.
I may need to get a replacement battery for the MX though, I'm lucky if I get more than 2 days on a single charge at this point.

Now, what the consoles DO have is compatibility. If I go to the store and buy a PS3 game, I'm 100% confident that it's going to work on my PS3. I can't really say that about my gaming rig, even though I sunk 1200 into it. Driver issues or OS compatibility can ruin your day, not to mention occasionally you just get a crappy game that flat out doesn't work for no discernible reason. Then of course there's the tweaks you have to go through to get the thing running optimally because the thing was really designed for NVIDIA and that ATI card you're using has some problems.
The ease of just buying a game, putting it in, and playing it is definitely worth it.

Oh I absolutely don't disagree, the very ability of PC players is another factor that is tough for me. I don't usually have a whole lot of time to invest in playing per week, so I'm not all that great. With that said, PC players are absolutely vicious, insanely skilled and extremely accurate. I'm not bad in comparison to other console players, but my experience with PC-gamers has been "kicked" if you aren't god-tier. Which I'm definitely not.
