What the hell was BW doing with the weapons for this DLC? Apart from the Lancer and the Suppressor they all stink (particularly considering most of them are UR!!)

I would say that starting less than stellar and buffiing up to good/useful is better than stiarting OP and nerfing down... but then they made the AIU, so that argument is out the window.

Rushed dlc is still rushed dlc

Charged shots guarente a stagger on Phantoms and Dragoons, makes a nice backup weapon on my Krogan Sentinel.

1 Charged Shot Venom plus a max damage Lift Grenade, everything just dies.

Plus, my Venom is only LVL 1 or 2, and it deals a ton of damage even at a low level.  However it is not good at killing boss units, so take a rapid fire high dps as a backup.

Nice finding

So is it worth it in your opinion to charge it and get 2 m more radius? Only use I can find is spawn nuking.

You can have great fun with the Charge Mechanic on Infiltrator. Had a fun game with the BatGuard aswell using BC + Charged Venom aswell earlier tonight. Suffice to say it may be appearing in a few more of my Vanguard builds when it stops being so damn heavy (only got a Venom I). The Venom is a fun and powerful weapon in my opinion. Sure, a little underperforming compared t some ultra rares (Wraith, PPR, Harrier, Talon, Scorpion) which are all simply amazing but certainly on level with the Saber, Paladin, CSMG and Indra)... That being said I wouldn't say no to either a weight reduction or a spare ammo capacity increase.

Worth it on classes where you get free shots from a power (Charge and TacCloak) Quite effective a clearing groups of enemies aswell. Still a fun tool to use in general. Wprth it in my opinion, though it is situational.

Peddro, how does the damage of the BPP compare to the damage of the CSMG versus armour?

I'm not peddro but if you don't mind...

DPS comparison
CSMG X vs BPP X (no DR, -0): 1030 vs 1,163,9
CSMG X vs BPP X (10% DR, -5): 930 vs 1,104.5

--------------------------------------------------

CSMG X dps vs armour (0 DR)
51.5 * 1.5 * 800 / 60 = 1,030

BPP X dps vs armour (0 DR)
(47.75 * 7 + 47.75 * 5 * 2.5) / 8 = 116.390625
116.390625 * 600 / 60 = 1,163.90625

CSMG X dps vs armour (90% HVB/ 10 DR)
(51.5 - 5) * 1.5 * 800 / 60 = 930

BPP X dps vs armour (90% HVB/ 10 DR)
((47.75 - 5) * 7 + ((47.75 * 5) - 5) * 2.5) / 8 = 110.453125
110.453125 * 600 / 60 = 1,104.53125

Could you look at the Talon's Omnibow? For instance, how do the debuffs function? Are they applied per arrow in the volley or per cast?

per arrow

DPS numbers don't tell the whole story ... BPP >> CSMG sustained vs armor ... CSMG must stop periodically to recharge ammo ... This makes CSMG a caster weapon ..And BPP a weapon class weapon ..

Can you do this with CSMG ?

Have no numbers to offer on that.. Some people claim the unchaged shot has next to no radius and the the charged one has a bit of AOE ...
