I've been comparing the two different models of statues (the red-haired and raven-haired) and have noticed that each of them has interchangeable parts—the descriptions state an interchangeable omni-blade and M-55 Argus for the red-haired statue and an interchangeable N7 Eagle and outspread hand.
Are the two statues only interchangeable in the parts specific to them (left arm or right hand)? For example, if you have both statues, could you take the Argus and put it on the raven-haired statue or take the N7 Eagle and put it on the red-haired statue?

Actually this is a good question. I would like to think both arms are interchangable.
However from the following images it could be that only the left arm can be changed for the redhead and right for the brunette.

Since they are essentially the same however, except for a different paint job it be far easier to make both arms removable so I think this will be the case.
Plus the image of one of them wielding both an Argus and Eagle is really really appealing right now!!
 Rambo eat your heart out!

I didn't know the black-haired one came with a Renegade base. Interesting, as my Paragon/Renegades were switched. (Black = Paragon / Red = Renegade).
Either way they look awesome, can't wait for them to start shipping.

Huh? I thought they came with both bases? I've seen pictures of the black haired with a paragon base at least.

Liara came with two logos for the base, (one with N7 and another with ME3) so im sure each will come with both. I think they just gone with the paragon for the Redhead and renegade for the brunette for display purposes.
As Suspire said, Im fairly sure I seen the Redhead with a renegade base at some point. Can't recall where though.
But really I am counting down the days for these now! They really are fab
Heres a more recent gallery of the pair, just because

Trying to see if the hand looks replacable as per the original question, but its hard to tell really

Ok got an answer to this one now at last for those that are curious. Article here
Duel Wielding with the brunette version will be possible!
(rightarm on the redhead is fixed it seems)
"...The standard edition, which is what this review covers, has a swappable left arm that holds the M-55 Argus assault rifle. By default, Shepard's left arm holds an omni-blade. The exclusive version allows you to swap the right hand with one holding the Eagle heavy pistol, creating some sweet dual-wielding possibilities."
Can't wait!!!

Huh. That's interesting. You'll have to take pictures of all the permutations, Crash. ^-^

I actually ordered the regular Red head Femshep from amazon and have already received her a few days ago and she looks amazing. She looks great next to Liara.
I can't wait to get my exclusive FemShep from the Bioware store. I'll will definitely be swapping arms to go with the double gun look. Now, if they'd only make a Miranda....

I got mine today and both the left arm and the right hand can be switched out. Also, the base comes with both a paragon and a renegade insert.
Looking at the description again, it doesn't say what the statue is made of. I'm a bit disappointed, though. I was thinking that, being labeled a statue, it would be made of the typical polyresin that I'm used to statues of this size being made of. Instead, it seems to be just made of plastic, similar to my $15 articulated male Shepard action figure, just a little larger, more stylized and much pricier. It looks amazing, of course, just like the pictures, but there's no weight or texture to how it feels.
The description does mention that it includes a multiplayer code, which I can't find in the package anywhere. I wasn't really worried about getting that, but it is in the description.

Got mine Monday, exclusive version. Kinda hoped she came with both guns or you could at least take off the omni blade cause my Shep is a Biotic... a pistol and an omni blade aren't a very canon combination, pistol makes you think biotic, you know but oh well. But both bases yes, though no multiplayer code anywhere either.
And her boobs are still too small for her game version and the bishoujo line lol but I love her, she looks so great!

Yeah doesnt look like the MP code has appeared for anyones Raven haired Shep. Someone mentioned this on Treehouse's facebook page and they said to open a support ticket.
Also duel wielding them is just soooo awesome!!
 I can forgive the fact it got held up in customs and had to pay an extra £20 now!

Cant wait to see who they do next!!

Crash, you're fueling my bad habits. STAHP. (But really, don't, because my bad habits fuel themselves just as much. XD)
I love my default redhead as much (actually, probably more) than the Liara one when I got her. MAD respect for the folks at Kotobukiya for listening to feedback.

Totally. The amount of design overhauls she (and Liara before her) have taken is amazing. They really never settled until they got the feedback and design they knew people were happy with. Which is awesome!
Cant wait to see who they do next. According to platikitty.com there are two more confirmed statues to come so looking forward to seeing whos next to join the ranks
