Who did you choose and Why?


P.S. Should I buy Game of Thrones Season 2 on Blu-Ray for $40 @Amazon? I'm financially conservative and can't bring

myself to pay HBO $18/mo.  I have BoardWalk Empire/Game of Thrones Season(s) 1 on Blu-Ray and love them.

ME2- Kasumi and Grunt
ME3- Kaidan and EDI

I usually choose my squadmates based on who I like best. EDI is awesome. She and Javik are my favorite non-romance characters. They always have something funny to say.

Garrus for all three games, as far as anyone else goes it kind of depends on what mission I am on and what class I am playing.

ME2- Thane and Legion
ME3 Garrus and Kaidan

In ME1 (unless I was a tech class myself) - Tali/Garrus (for Decryption more than anything) and Liara (her biotics are game breakingly useful, especially singularity).

In ME2 I would use a save editor to unlock Legion - Legion (cool robot) & Grunt (He. Is. Krogan.)

In ME3 it's back to Liara (again for biotics though not as useful as in ME1) + Garrus (because it's Garrus) mostly. Though I have done playthroughs taking Javik everywhere just to see all his reactions/conversations etc.

Interestingly it seems (to me at least) that ME1 was the only one where gameplay reasons decided who I took and not just who I liked best.

ME1: Liara (never really had a favorite second squad member, so I just chose randomly - except when I did those "Ally" achievements)
ME2: Garrus, Thane or Samara
ME3: Liara and Javik

I would've used Grunt but he never shot enough for some reason, he was very conservative.

Finally someone who uses Miranda and Zaeed one of the most deadly combinations in ME2.
