[U Bite My Pillow]

So after PUG'n Gold I've seen 4 different players FAIL horribly using a Juggy. Why the hell does anyone think this kit needs a nerf? Yes he's super tanky, yeah he can't be sync killed but it doesn't change the fact that I haven't seen 1 do well with it yet. Ravagers, Scions, Atlas and Primes still take Juggs out fairly quickly if your not paying attention. Anyone who thinks this kit needs a nerf is nuts, now the AIU that's a different story.

People say the AIU is easy sauce but I've yet to see a PUG that can actually use her.

In fact tonight I topped the scoreboard against 2 shotgun AIU's with my Lancer 2 Juggernaught against Collectors/White.

Watched a Juggernaut run out of medigel on wave 4. I was all like 'Whaaaaat?'

I really like this class but damn pugs are dumb when there's one. Almost every pug I've played with it I end up with 5-6 banshees, brutes, and ravangers bottle necked on me and my team just runs away and leaves me to die a slow death.
This class is great, I wish he had a short sprint, maybe three or four steps or atleast make it so it can drop packages, but either way it's a lot of fun to play.
I do think they need to fix the heavy melee targeting, if you're not dead center on a baddy it just fizzles, which with its short CD is really annoying when you have a lot of enemies hitting you or powers going all wub wub all around you.

I just saw a guy that earned 100,000 points in silver using geth prime, the guy was noob he was 35 N7, and 80 challenges points he was using an avenger IV and GPSG I with no mods and no gear, this make me think that this character is quite powerfull, if this characters isn't nerfed i'll see all players using it.

I've been playing the Jugg a lot since I got it, but if the rest of the team goes down and I get downed early in a wave, I pretty much call it, the Jugg just doesn't have the damage output to clear a full wave or anywhere near the mobility to get away from a pack if you gel after going down in a pack.

wow I play as a Juggernaut and I rarely go down it may happen once but its rare its embarassing when it happens though

Yeah I've Solo'd Silver with a Volus so what's your point? It's Silver...But on Gold or Plat Juggy can have a fairly rough time. As I've said I haven't seen 1 random come above 3rd OR extract yet on Gold PUGs.

My Juggernaut is dauntless, he never falls.
Anyone crying out to nerf the Juggernaut are people who still don't quite understand the new role it represents. Conversely, a lot of people still don't know how to play it.

As an aside, I did have a four player Juggernaut match today. Giddiest this game has made me in quite a while.

People think that he can't be downed when that is far from the case. Enough damage and he will go down faster than he can switch enemies and regen his shields. He is also slow so getting away isn't always an option. I have been stuck tanking a boss while everyone shoots at me hoping that my team helps me just to die alone. It was my mistake for taking on to much, lesson learned. There is also some hate spreading to this character. Was doing the weekend challenge with my juggs and several lobies marked me with a red x. Mind you I had consumables on with a typhoon 6 so I wasn't planning on leeching and it isn't the only time this has happened.

The problem is that people seem to think that since he's so hard to kill, they can just rambo spawns themselves. The Juggernauts that truly shine are the ones that stick with their team and do their job by keeping banshees/praetorians busy and taking the pressure off their teammates.

A Juggernaut with between 5000-8000 shields and 40% DR being stripped so easily by Scions really puts into perspective just how broken Scion shots are.

Precisely. It's wonderful having a Jugg keep the nasty sync-killing bosses off other teammates while they burn them down. Good ol' fashioned tank 'n spank.

Funny, when I'm playing the jug I usually more than double the second place score because the second I attract a boss mob my group thinks I've got the whole wave and runs to the other end of the map. So I have to spam consumables and basically shield drain the whole match by myself, with the occasional pulse thrown in.

now lets see him do that on gold.  Or even better, platinum.  100,000 points in silver with a base weapon is simple.

This is true, but half the time I find that it's the opposite problem, the Jugg starts leaching a banshee and the team just runs away to kill other stuff and then the Jugg ends up alone with enemies stacking up while it leaches one at a time and hope that it'll be able to tank the whole stack.  That's pretty much the only way I end up dieing as the Jugg.

Juggy isn't rambo.  Stay with the team and have all the synch killers latch onto you

I just played Juggernaut in a silver PUG and struggled, although we got through and achieved full extraction. Being slow and unable to duck into cover is quite enough of a handicap to compensate for the strengths. It's an interesting class, I'd describe it as probably balanced.

That's why I like the Juggs so well. He is designed to face down bosses while the team flanks. He isn't designed to face every enemy at once. When I play the Juggs, I work on bosses and let everyone get some slack from them while they whittle their health down.

Ahhhhh! The ever classic "I got my arse kicked by a noob. This character needs nerfing." response. There are quite a few kits built that way for bronze/silver: Kroguard, Vanguare, Demolisher, Destroyer, GI, TGI... etc. So umm yeah, no.
