And yes. I use the helm-off mod, but they take up space inventory then (limited already) so just being able to 'not show' them would be a huge improvement. They did it in ME, after all.

I'm going to see if I can find (and figure out how to post) pictures of some of the things I'm talking about. Then I'm going to beg and beg (I'm married so used to that) to get someone to make the mods for me

Well, I rather like the swords.

The outfits are sexy, but a bit too modern don't you think? But I know what you mean - something that rocks, but with a more medieval feel, I think. So minus heels, sparkle, etc. But with some style.

Ohh, that reminds me. All the people who whinged about the bows (no bowstring) - I retorted that they seemed to have no problem with supposedly razor sharp swords, axes, daggers, etc being carried around unsheathed on peoples backs.

How about weapon sheaths? And bowstrings?

Yeah I agree sheaths would be cool, and if I remember what I read right there is someone working on that, I know t hey already have a hip hold out for larger weapons, don't know if it has a sheath or not though.

Amen to that. And you don't mess with Death's granddaughter, even if she is not speaking in ALL CAPS.

What I want:
More creatures - (covered in David Gaider's thread)
Pants with leather armour
Better walks for women would be good. Morrigan sometimes walks like Grouch Marx!
Silver Sabres [with artifact Greyswandir ]
More colour - Dark fantasy doesn't have to mean drab fantasy where everything is brown. (Ninja Gaiden 2 style locations?)

Well, I probably wouldn't go quite as far as you style-wise. But that's completely irrelevant because when it's mods we can choose the ones we like, hehe. The more the better. I'd love to have dozens, hundreds even, to choose between. I'd probably pick 10-20 tops, but they'd be exactly what I wanted.

Bioware can't do that, ofc, people have such different ideas about what they want. I think they're very right to stick to 'traditional' styles. But some more texture and model variety even within that framework would be nice.

The mere thought of foot soldiers wearing massive plate makes me cringe a bit, to be honest. People want 'realism' and they're okay with that? And we're all foot soldiers - not one of us has a horse (or any other form of mount, I hasten to add).

It's odd what makes our individual hackles rise, isn't it?

Yep I agree though it's all about what you like, these are the sorts of things I'd like to see, wether or not I ever will, remains to be seen. I would just like everyone to have multiple options available to them.

For whatever reason I can't get the toolset to work, so I couldn't even begin to try and do these things myself.

I'd like some helmets that dont come off in conversations. Make it like Mass effect, so you can hide the helmet, or keep it on.



It strikes me as really damn stupid to take off your helmet in the middle of a battlefield just to show off your facial expressions.

I don't know how the mods can make searching the forums easier, lol and I'd like that a lot, but I still have the feeling far too many would just not bother and make a new thread.
