Seems like it's about slaves.
Anyways, I'll give it a read maybe.

-Mac confirms that characters we know will be making appearances, and some that we don't know much about may get more exposure. That has possibilities for people's faves from ME1 and ME2...
-This is not post-ME3. Based on the title, this is the foundation, and they're going to go back and flesh out existing stories.
-The new Citadel DLC will tie in to the Foundation series.
If you're interested in the new Citadel DLC because of the characterizations, then the first two should be appealing. We may get to spend more time with the characters from ME2 and maybe ME1.
Many people who lack respect for Mac's plotting still respect Mac's characterizations. So it's a good sign (if you read the interview) that he seems to get it, that characterization is the way forward for his comics.
The third one is also interesting, but what he suggests seems to imply that the connection between the DLC and the comics will be the characters who appear, rather than plot. So it doesn't seem like a strong tie-in, but we'll see.

That last dialogue exchange is clearly pulled from "Come with me if you want to live" (Terminator reference). Perhaps Mac is envisioning her as Sarah Connor-esque.

Having read that interview, it is quite clear Bioware learned nothing from the past year. Sad, but hardly surprising.
Oh I think they learned, I just don't think they'll ever be able to admit it publicly just how much they screwed up the ending. At least they gave us the EC.
As for this comic, the slavery aspect was always mentioned in dialouge and codex entries but we never really saw anything directly associated with it in the game. The closest thing we got was the Colonist background mission in ME1 with the girl on the Citadel whose owners were killed.
It's a dark side to the MEverse I'd like to see more of. Maybe something along the lines of... "A story about a slave from Aratoht and how is life is a living torture and misery, praying for a quick end to him and the punishing of his owner. He gets his wish when the Alpha Relay blows."
Here's hoping Foundations does somethign along that route.

So is that why Mass Effect crumbled to the ground in pieces, because they hadn't made the Foundation yet? No wonder, Mac, you're doing things backwards again.

Or maybe, like I mentioned in an earlier post, she's fighting against Citadel's bad guys, and maybe this is one of their operations. She may be looking for their leader, or for an influent figure within the organization (who may be the claw gauntlet guy.)

Looks like Citadel DLC and this new comic series will provide us with new characters. Maybe will be bridge between ME3 and ME4?
I thought ME4 was a reboot?

I think they're slaves (or at least the boy is), because she asks the boy if he wants to be free. Because it's either that, or they're prisoners. And I doubt kids become prisoners much.

Writer equals art design? Because he didn't write Miranda and Samara, nor is he an art director, nor project director. Or are you going to blame everything on Mac like a dick? Seriously, use your head.
