It looks really interesting, maybe a prequel to the discovery of the mass relays?

A new red hair, female star? Must buy.

However I still hope for future Blasto comics too.

Is it just me or does the woman in the first picture look like Miranda.

Needs more dual-wielding and firing-while-jumping. Wolverine claw is decent and utterly original.

I'm cool with this.

I wonder when this is set in terms of time period. Foundation suggests older.

My knee jerk reaction is the same as what I feel for MEX: Prequel, pass. Follow up, get.

Huh still need to read the other comics will give some of those a go first. I do applaud that it's a Bioware writer doing this and not someone outside the games. Still me3 left a lot of us cold to Walter's style.

Same proportions as the kid talking to Buzz Aldrin in the ME3 ending.

Yes a female lead in a series for the comic book very awesome, and in no way does she look like Miranda, looks like a very exciting adventure is coming once more dark horse is really such a great comic company, i wonder why they never did anything on commander Shepard like a prequel series, or a one shot where the character reflects about previous battles before the final battle for earth stuff like that.

Passing on this.

The MASS EFFECT comics have been almost total garbage.

Really enjoyed the first three novels, though.

That artist´s style just doesn´t work for ME IMO, and Walters gives the usual PR answer when asked about the ending. Think I´ll pass.

Dark Horse published the preview for the first edition of the series.

Mass Effect 2 and 3 lead writer Mac Walters kicks off a new ongoing series, set in the vibrant, engaging world of BioWare’s blockbuster science fiction epic!

Mass Effect: Foundation starts with a bang, introducing readers to an enigmatic “agent” and revealing the story of her time spent on the violent mining colony of Themis.

* First issue of a new ongoing series!

* Mass Effect 3 was the winner of “Best RPG” at the 2012 Spike VGAs!

“Walters lends the instant authenticity, and the unique approach of having the desire to say more with these characters than he can in the video games.” –Newsarama

The first issue will be released on July 24th: http://www.darkhorse...ct-Foundation-1

This is the planet mentioned on the preview: http://masseffect.wi...com/wiki/Themis

I see no preview, only the cover.

By the way, they showed the covers for #2 and #3: it will be about Wrex and Ashley.
