4 - Poison Strike - Damage
6 - Nightshade Blades - Damage, Poison Duration, Exploding Blades
6 - Biotic Focus - Movement Speed, Duration, Biotic Shield
4 - Passives - Power Damage & Capacity
6 - Fitness - Melee Damage, Shield Recharge Delay, Fitness Expert

I know the OP is from a month ago, but still...

Some of these choices confuse me.

Not sure Movement Speed is all that necessary on a character who is pretty quick on her feet to begin with and can teleport all over the place. But I'll let that go...

Why Duration on Biotic Focus? It has a crazy long 15s duration by default. I don't even have a melee build but I choose Melee here just because that extra 5s duration is completely pointless.

Why Shield Recharge when you have Biotic Focus?

Why Melee + Fitness Expert? Wouldn't Durability + Melee Synergy be better?

I like movement speed... because I can get all kinds of durability from other sources.

Duration on Biotic Focus so it  competes less with Poison Strike for cooldowns (and that build is meant to Poison Strike constantly).

Shield Recharge so I'm less dependant on Biotic Focus, and can let sheilds recharge naturally while Poison Striking.

Rank 4/6 melee bonus is the same IIRC (30%), rand 4/6 fitness is not. Rank 6 gives 10% more fitness... so it's a better choice IMO. More weapon damage isn't needed after a heavy melee kill, b/c the primary weapon is the Acolyte.

I know I'm necro-ing a kind of old thread but I thought it was one worth bringing back to life. I played around with a more weapons-oriented build (using the Hurricane) and had some success but I've always wanted to use the melee attacks.

Now I use a slightly different build using primarily melee attacks and my finally unlocked Acolyte and it's been a blast. Being on console and only having two thumbs makes it hard to line up the heavy melee sometimes but when it works and I'm able to dodge out of trouble afterwards I feel like quite a ninja. I might try to switch melee to R3 and see if that makes it any easier because missing a melee and getting shot by the guy that I just flew past is one of the biggest issues I've had so far. I also wish I had more than 2 Nightshade Blades without having to sacrifice Geth Scanner. :/

It also just so happens that I've pulled the Cabal out of Premium packs several times lately so she's now fully customized out. Kicking ass and taking tames in style.

So thanks for the build.
