And, not everyone has a good team to play with, or the reactions to act on their understanding of the mechanics, or the dedication to learn the mechanics... I'm not sure what your point is, are you seriously claiming most players can use any kit and/or any weapon on platinum and be successful?

See, what I'm not understanding is that you're talking about platinum viability but in the same breath saying not everyone could pull it off.

People that can't pull it off probably aren't going to be playing platinum with anything but OP kits in the first place.

Ah, well I apologize for the confusion. Allow me to caveat 'platinum viable for the average player'.

And what I meant by that was say if a player plays decently with only a few builds on platinum, let's say they really like their ghost and harrier. Well, if they decide to try my build out and switch to the argus, they may not be able to get the same results as they're used to. That's even more true with weapons like the raptor or incisor, etc.

Revenant would fit for human soldiers and destoryers. when playing the archives level in the citadel DLC there is a display of two turians and a human POW (one wielding a revenant and expaning he found it on the human), presumably set in the first contact war, the other turian goes on about how primitive the weapon is (the assumption being the revenant is a gunpowder based weapon and the one in ME2&ME3 is an upgraded version)

Those ideas look really awesome and I'm definitely going to prod some friends into trying them with me! Shame I missed the girl fight though... Especailly the getting naked and making up part...
