Glad to hear that. Ya keep talkin bout sniping mages. I've spotted a couple spells in the mage spell lists that counter arrows, so it's appearing that you don't wanna have only arrows alone vs a mage, or you risk getting caught in a very dangerous situation of having no effective counter to the mage if they have one of those arrow countering spells. With some dual wield under your belt as well, ya should be able to stay a step or two ahead of them.

I'm hoping traps will be viable during fights for more flexibility. I only want to dual-wield with one of my rogues, as it really is a strange choice from a practical standpoint. I have dual-wielded in real-life and while effective, it is also tiring. Very, very tiring. With one hand, you can switch back and forth when one is tired or use both hands sometimes for extra strength. With both hands used, both hands get tired all the time and neither has as much stength. Also, there are certain movies which shall remain unnamed that have spoiled it for me. So anyway, most of my rogues will be using traps, bows, and single blades + shields.

ya, the whole trap concept is so sweet!!!!!! a noose trap would be very effective against a mage, who thinks they are safe in their ability to cast magic. And i cant wait to get Master Stealth, then sneak into an enemies camp! i think you can guess what ill do next

I'm starting with an city elf.. It's the only origin I find interesting. I haven't seen how mages start out, but don't plan on playing a mage my first time through. Chose rogue for my class (bard focus). Haven't decided on weapon focus, dual wield more than likely.

I look forward to the traps in this game. Nothing like have a strong enemy run through a few traps before he gets there to make life a little bit easier. I'm also curious about the AI companions, and how the commands for them will work. I don't think it will be Rainbow Six in a fantasy world but I have a good feeling they will make good.

ya the AI commands are going to be interesting. In KOTOR your companians followed you everywhere. I wonder if it possible to split your team up. Not send them to totally different locations, but send them to different areas in a general location, and not have the rest of the team go and follow them

Human noble rogue here.
Weapons of choice will be words and blades, probabily going for duelist or assassin (if the first proves to be not that interesting). Coercion is a must for me.

When is Bioware gonna Wiki up the Duelist specialization? I've been curious about it for ages, on behalf of my rogue character. I've been wanting to examine it to see if it could fit my idea for my rogue, to become more dex-fighterish. My favorite rogue is one that can be sneaky, & deadly at the same time. The ultimate example of this, is of course, the Ninja!
It's hard for bein deadly fast, skilled, & hard to hit, to ever fail at lookin good!

Human rogue, she's the one in my avatar. Not sure what skills I'll plan for, guess i'll see how things work out in-game first. I was originally going to be a city elf, but from what i've seen of the origin story it doesn't fit with the character i had planned.

I am playing a City elf Rogue, with a high coercion skill, dual wielding daggers, probably, lots of points to stealth, traps, poison and hand to hand combat. I don't really see her as an archer, more as a support for the tank, backstabbing or taking out mages/archers.
I'll probably go with the duelist or assassin - specialization, depends on how I wil be playing in the end.

I'm also leaning towards City Elf Rogue, but I'm not sure if I'll be either Warrior or Rogue. I'll be playing as a City elf anyway because of the amazing story, thats for sure.

If ya haven't already, join our rogue group, the Rogue's Den! Link is earlier in this thread. I noticed that Photo Bucket appears to have failed ya. It was a worthy pic, so if ya can, please try to get it posted in the Rogue's Den Photo section! It's too good a pic to deserve to vanish.
