LOL at the pic. But yeah, each game was great, but each game also had its own set of problems. Many say that ME1 and ME2 were perfect, but ME3 was garbage. Fact is ME3 is actually good, but has some problems, and ME1/2 also had their fair share of problems too. If you combine them altogether as one game, it really is an amazing experience

The Lord of the Rings is a better trilogy than Mass Effect. That is preciously what I am saying.


But OP thinks Mass Effect is the best game trilogy. Which is fine.

Nope. Never played any mass effect game before. Its my first playthrough ever, and I played them in order

I've talked to many that are new to Mass Effect, I think us long time fans are a bit more harsh in ME3 since we've had move time to grow with the ME universe and characters.  More "emotional attachment" if you will. The EC really helps the ME3 endings, at least it helps them feel more emotionally satisifying than stock.  

The EC should have been stock.

I agree. If i played ME3 without the EC, trust me id wouldve been raging at the end

Mass Effect is the worst planned out trilogy I have ever encountered. There was little to no forethought that went into it.

Mass Effect is the worst planned out trilogy I have ever encountered. There was little to no forethought that went into it.

They flat out admitted that they made it up as they went along. Which for certain elements is understandable, but for giant plot points that's pretty sloppy. And it shows.

Also yes, it felt like a completely different game during the final 30 minutes. It felt like Mac's game instead of a collaborative effort from the whole team. Probably because that's exactly what happened.
